How do you get rid of the noise that comes from you alternator. Got my 2 amps connected to the same spot on the car, but getting that whining sound when I press on the gas. Any one have a cure for that problem ?

Make sure to route the power wire down one side of the car, and the audio cables down the other side. Keep them separated. And use good quality audio cables.

If that doesn't work, I believe there is a device you can buy specifically to filter out that noise.

As said above...route power on one side...and signal on the other. They can really interfer with each other. They also have filters that you can pick up at any auto store...they help alittle...but not much. Use good shielded cables for both power and signal.

Good Luck

A RCA ground loop isolator available at most Radio Shacks and audio installation shops will eliminate the alternator whine, But as stated before, rerouting the power wires away from the RCA's is first on the list, then get an isolator if that doesnt cure the problem.
This site has all you need to fix any audio problem (http://www.installer.com/acc/index.html)

the problem could also be where the headunit is grounded ....try to ground the deck to a differnet spot (other than the factory harness) ....that worked for me
