This happened back in October, but Im just now getting the pictures posted. I was going out to eat with a couple friends around 7:30-8, and out of nowhere this deer just steps on to the road and got lost in my headlights, I hit my brakes as soon as I'd seen it, so I probably hit it at about 45-50 mph... And the bastard deer just kicked off the side of my car and ran into the woods...It was massive..lol..Animals can be so stupid!! When I pulled off the road, I had to walk down the road to get my lisence plate that got ripped out...It cost almost 4 grand to fix, luckily I have a good insurance policy! I had to get a new hood obviously, and new headlights, they had to repaint my bumper and my door, and fix my driverside mirror, and some hoses were busted inside and the list goes on and on! And look what they gave me for a temporary car! Ghetto! lol ... I drove my moms explorer instead :)... So the moral of the story...DONT HIT DEER! I just thought I would share this with you! Im sorry about the webpage..lol..I didnt feel like taking the rest of the pictures off...it takes forever!Click here for the pics! :( (http://99cougar.i8.com/photo.html)

OUCH, dude. Glad it looks fine today, but I can imagine how upset you were that night.
I was expecting to see all kinds of fur and blood everywhere.

Here's my first junker...a hyundai scoupe. Same problem you had...a deer. But the deer didn't make it. Some guy came out and took it in his truck.

i've almost hit deers before... a kid from my hs hit a deer at 120mph and got knocked unconscious has a scare on his forehead and he flew out of the car, which was lucky in thsi case, the car spun out and hit a tree and the gas tank caught fire and the car blew up :(

Another word of advice, don't hit coyotes either. Took one out going
70mph. And it took out the front end of my car, but oddly enough the
airbags didn't go off.

Dude....that's rough...I can feel your pain.
lol....at ND4SPD
I was lucky the ones I hit were in the ground, just didn't see them for fog. Don't forget Matt, you saw my car AFTER spending $20 at the car wash :) ...and that was underneath :) John and I were allmost throwing up when we were washing it. there were chunks of it in my sideskirts and the smell was atrocious. I figured I was saved by a few things.....1) I managed to get the large part of the body right in the center of the Roush and it bent my plate in half. 2) I had no grill inso there was nothing between the hood and bumper besides the headlights (which were a bit loose) 3)I did crack a small portion of the bumper (where the bumper and fender meet)...but it's on the inside.4)the drivers side Roush piece ONLY stayed on by the screws...the tape completely seperated.
and for the record...I had an oil change when I got back and we had to peel pieces off of the resinator and cat. and a few pieces off the exhaust. There was one piece of meat lodged in there the size of my fist. It was a good laugh at Ford that day...
I was DAMN lucky, that's all I have to say.....allthough the car still kida smells when it gets warm :)
EDIT:BMICHEL....you would have been saved if you had my liscense plate :) I know for SURE it save that area of my car.
