I was looking back there and it seems like it would be possible to simply turn a rod of steel to the correct shape, then thread the other end, and it could simply be slid into the existing hole and secured with a nut. For those of us without the hanger already(01-02 i believe) Heres a rough model of what i mean. I'll have to try this once i get back to shcool and have access to a machine shop, but it seems like its a simple solution.

I went to Home Depot, bought a 3/8" stainless steel rod, 2 washers and 2 lock nuts. And for $10 and a hours worth of time, I had my passenger side hanger.

If you install a Monza, you don't need a passenger side hanger - it uses the tow hooks. I'm aware that there are a couple others that don't require the bracket installed, either....
