Well, I survived!

I didn't tell a lot of people.. but I had surgery yesterday on my uterus.. I was FINE yesterday.. a little groggy from the anestesia... but not in a lot of pain at all.. today was a different story.. EVERYTHING but my uterus hurt! I'm making this quick because i'm in a lot of pain sitting in this chair right now.. but I should be ok in the next few days.. I'll post back in a few days..

Posts containing explicit (even if thinly veiled) profanity and/or pornography.

It would also probably be agreed by most reasonable people that items 12-14 are not. What about items 6-11? I honestly dont really check chapter folders because I usually leave it up to that chapters mod to handle the "business" and keep things in check.

The only reason the "masterbation" thread and "nympho" thread were deleted were because I received a message about "offensive" content in this chapter and the moderator wasnt available "online" and I was asked to handle it. So I came in deleted it and left a message.

In regards to the signature "my ass can handle 13 inches" I dont read signatures...well, only one because it made me laugh someone was took a lame pop shot at me. But I really cant say anything to her unless someone tells me. Heck....ask her yourself. But if you are seriously offended....then please tell me and I will relay the message to her and ask for her to change it.

Bottom line is, it's up to the chapter mod to handle the chapters business. Nothing is offensive unless it's against the rules (which the masterbation one was) or if somenoe sends me a message that is legitimate and I have to handle it. In this world there are very closeminded people and some that refuse to allow much free thinknig in their life and go looking for those threads and theres plenty others who do not find wrong....sadly.....if someone does find offense and it is warranted agaisnt the rules, that thread will be dealt with and parties that participated in the thread or in the case of many posters....went above and posted links, passages etc...will be given warnings/strikes....

My question is was this a carolina member or just some member going through forums looking for things to complain about. Cause I know of a couple of people who just do that, now if it were a carolina mamber then ok a little more understandable. But my thing is we are not forcing this thread on anyone, it is not mandatory to read said thread and if you have a problem come to members to fix the problem instead of running and telling on people like a certain person I know does..... But that is just my .02 no offense to anyone but I wonder if I will inturn gain a strike for practicing my freedom of speech :-) hehe just kidding I know forums have different rules....

Well...first and foremost....there is no freedom of speech on these forums. Consider it more of a privledge then a right. It's privately owned....so whatever the boss man says is law here :)

As for looking for trouble. Honestly....I have no clue. I think I was in your chapter folders maybe 6 months ago before I had to come in and clean house a little bit. Could they have been searching for problems....of course, I know of a few people that are always trying to find things they feel are "wrong".....was this person doing that?? I dont know...but they did find it and they did message me and the thread was in violation........so thats how that came about.

As for the not forcing that thread onto people. That line honestly doesnt work. The first problem....no warning label on it indicating adult content. I understand with a title like "masterbation" one would assume....but again, we all know what assuming means and lastly so what.....there were parts of the thread that were in clear violation, and that was pretty much the problem. The thread itself could've probably lasted fine until people started posting links to porn and quoting passages using "mature language" :)

Bottom line.....look, we can have all the fun we want. You can pretty much say whatever ya want....just dont cross those few lines we have. It's really not that difficult, just gotta use some tact when posting and try to watch catch phrases that someone may use in the search bar to find such threads. Doesnt take rocket science to find the problems. Any true wordsmith can find other words to substitute ;)

And also.....given this incident....you obvious know a lot more people, especially moderators will be watching your chapter a lot closer for a while making sure things dont slip away and we need to contact Magic or handle it ourselves :)

Poor Julie's thread got hijacked BIG TIME....if I were any of ya'll I would apologize. If it where a thread about exaust or something like that then I wouldn't mind a little hijacking, but in this case, the thread was made to let her friends here on CaroNECO know that she had surgery and that she made it out OK.

I'm greatful to hear that you are doing better Julie. Thank you for all you kind calls and PM's about my recent loss...I really appreciate all your support, and I'll get you some fries when I'm down at the beach in 2 weeks.
