View Full Version : You knew there would be a post about this...
So who saw 2Fast2furious and what did you think? Personally I thought it was pretty solid. Other than Paul Walker is possibly the worst actor in the world (close between him and Elizabeth Hurley) I thought it improved on the first one. Its nice to see fast cars take a few corners this time too. Decent story, and Tyrese is pretty badass. I give it the nod of approval. Just turn off your brain and enjoy it. A word of note- This will help the experience a lot too- Go buy or rent the new version of the Fast and the Furious. It includes a mini movie that ties the two big screen movies together. Without it you may wonder why Brian now drives a GTR and why he's in Miami. The bonus stuff in the DVD covers it.

Good to hear that! Went to see it on Friday but it was sold out. I'll see it this Friday though.
Thanks

I figured I'd wait for the teeny-boppers to clear out first...
The only review I saw said it improved on the original, and is now up to "mediocre". Or I might just wait for the DVD, seeing as how I've never seen the first one either. ;)
Next up on my list of movies to see is Matrix Reloaded in IMAX.

Yes, I give it a tumb and a middle finger up, the thumb for the cars and action, the middle finger for the actors talking besides Tyrese cuz he cracks my **** all up! Dude he needs to be in FnF3 like tomorrow cuz he was awesome!! Seen it twice already and DLing it right now on my PC.

First of all didn't see it yet.
second my friend Adam got a car mag where they tested the 2fast and 2furious cars
the Pink S2000 is the fastest one of them all none of the nitrous in the cars
is actually functional (gee I never would've guessed) and the GT-R and I believe it
was an RX-7 only ran mid to high 14's and one of them ran 15's
anyway I have nothing against the F&F movies personally I liked the first one and
I'm glad it came about because it shined a huge spotlight on the compact car scene
which might have contributed to aftermarket parts for our car. I'll see the second one soon

Yeah, they hacked up that poor Skyline so it was no longer AWD. I guess the grip was sooo phenomenal that they couldn't get it to drift on camera, so they disconnected the front differential
Cuz losing control in a turn is way cooler- at least in the movies...

Yeah so the cars and chase scenes were good but the acting could not have been any worse; except of course for Tyrese. He's kinda badass. But apparently, it was that good cuz I couldn't get any action during the movie from my date. Maybe he was too concerned about being the first to post about this damn movie...

BWAAAHAHHAHAHAHAAA Nice
Brooke and I finally saw it tonight at the 10pm show in Fairlawn. We both liked it alot.
Then afterwards there was some moron doing burnouts in the parking lot with an old beat up Chevy truck
I started the car and some people were standing there checking it out (which Brooke thought was really cool)
then I hit my toggle which lights up my fuel and oil pressure pillar pod gauges and this kid goes
"hey you guys check it out he has nitrous" I look back and yup he's pointing at my gauges
*sigh* I expected to hear someone laugh at him but they were just like "oh yeah that's cool".
so sad......so....sad
just for the record I didn't speed out of the parking
lot to impress the high schoolers I just cruised.
