Just a reminder for those that would like to attend, Mini-Fest II is only 3 months away (Sept. 6th). For details goto: Mini-Fest II (http://www.ohioneco.org/cedarpointminifest.htm) I will again be checking on discount ticket prices for Cedar Point and do a pre-purchase for those interested (check back at the webpage for this information as it becomes available). We had a nice turnout last year with people from 3 states representing. Hopefully this year we will have an even bigger turnout. If you like to go to meets and like to go to amusement parks this is the meet for you. If you are unfamiliar with Cedar Point it has been rated the #1 amusement parks for many years with the most roller coasters available at one park. An added bonus is that we are staying at a Cedar Point hotel which means we can enter the park 1/2 hr earlier than the general public. The date of this meet was chosen (as last year) because by this time all the kids are back in school and about half the normal summer crowds are at Cedar Point allowing for much more riding fun (less time waiting in lines). As a quick reference Cedar Point is located in the Northwest of Ohio. I hope to see a lot of members attend this year.

The web page has been updated with discount ticket prices for Cedar Point and how to purchase them.

Updated the web page: hotel price updated with the internet price ($29 cheaper). So if you share a room with 3 other people, you can pay for both Cedar Point ($32.65 w/ tax) and the Hotel room ($94.35 w/ tax divided by 4 = 23.59) for a total of about $56.24 per person. Not bad, not bad at all!

Unfortunately the only way to get into Cedar Point early is if you have a room booked at one of their hotels. You may however be able to have someone that isnt using all the early entry passes for their room get you one. They would just have to say one more person is staying in their room (wont cost them any more money). You may want to ask people in Ohio that are going if they wouldn't mind booking their room with an extra person so you get the pass. FYI, 4 people per room allowed.

There is no show to get into. We are just having fun hanging out at Cedar Point, at dinner, and then partying at the hotel in one of the rooms. For an itinerary click on the Mini-Fest II link in the initial post.
