Not sure if this site has been posted here before or not but I found a place that has coolers and filters dirt cheap. Not sure how they can sell for this low as I am a distributor for Hayden coolers and they are selling them for just a few dollars over my cost.
Anyways go here (http://www.bulkpart.com/) to take a look

how would you hook up a transmission cooler? Which one is best for our cars?

i haven't done it myself but you just remove the return line from the radiator and tap it in...
I would think the smallest one would be fine. It was like $18-19 If you want a performance chart I can get it for you :)

I got a Hayden, forget which number, but it was the high end and small and black. Cost like $40-50 w/ parts at a auto store. Its taken about 20-25 degrees off my "driving temp". I'm under 150 (used to be right at 150). And my idle temp used to be 180 now its below. Its taken about 20 degrees off that temp.
Of course if I idle long enough it will go above 180, but that only happened once (since I had my gauge, but before my cooler). It hasn't happened at all since then.

If you have a pic and measurements I can tell you what p/n it is. At least what Haydens number is....

Sorry, i am not that experienced mechanically. Does a MTX need a tranny cooler? Can you use one on a MTX?? I know, stupid question, but i have no clue on this.

Question for those with trany coolers, did you feel any difference in the way the car shifts when doing a lot of driving?

I noticed better shifting once the car was warmed up and the trans fluid was at normal operating temperatures. My temps are lower with the cooler and it does help. We're not talking extreme gains, but definitely noticable.
