Just wondering what else I should check out while I'm down there.
I also posted this over on CEG and got some decent input so far.
We may even end up meeting up with some of them for dinner.
Would be cool if some NECO folks could get in on this as well.

Cool...most of us are in St. Louis area...but that's only about 4 hours away...Maybe Melissa is closer? I know she's in SW Missouri...I wouldn't mind driving out to KC to meet some of the people out that way and maybe go to Worlds of Fun...but I'll be in college in Virginia in September...so that makes it about a 15 hour drive for me :(

EDIT: You'll have a great time at Arrowhead Stadium!! I saw 2 games there...something about that place I just love! (plus I've always liked the Chiefs :) )

theme park may be a cool option, I'll have to run it by my travel mates.
We're also discussing the possibility of checking out some "adult entertainment" establishments for the late-night, after dinner fun. :)
I was told the choice is between alcohol and partial nekkids or sodie-pop and full nekkids.

some full are byob. See how late the soda ones and full ones are open. If the sodas late you can drink before at the full and then head over.

if ya are in the springfield area...pm me first...i live about an hour from springfield...i've yet to meat any cougar owners from any cougar boards (damn car has always been in sho during meetups) unfortuneately car is in for another 2 months for fiberglass and paint work

Just as an update.
We just booked all tickets/flights/car, etc.
(pretty darn good deals too).
We'll be staying at a Red Roof Inn a couple miles away from the stadium.
We should be arriving at noonish on September 13th.
Looks like we might end up with a Focus for rental car. heh

We're still interested in doing some dinner with any and all of you who'd like to join us that Saturday night.
We're also still interested in touring the Harley plant, but will have to look into that further, especially with respect to our arrival and departure times.
Our flight departs from KC on that Monday at 8pm.
