Help!!!!!!!!! Problems with Autotap / laptop

Hey everyone...

I finally go tmy laptop and autotap hooked up in the car. The program says its "connected" to the car whenever the key is just on auxillary. But when i actually start the car it always says "NOT CONNECTED".

Ive tried undoing the cables and putting them back in.
Ive tried resetting laptop.
Ive tried rebooting the program.

But for some reason i cant get the autotap to connect to the car when its running.

Can someone help me....

what kind of lap top do you have. I have a mac, and was looking for something like, what you have. where did you get the program?

If you have the base AutoTAP system, then don't enter a VIN, or the options you'll be able to select from will be limited greatly. Advanced package doesn't matter.
