Hi guys

Talking about exhausts i got a Janspeed twin stainless steel from CAT back about 10 months ago

i should have looked around first , as it took about 3 weeks to come my local garage
ordered & fitted it

i dont know if it was the first one janspeed had made for the cougar but the mounting brackets
are too short & it keeps falling of the rubbers , also i dont think the flanges are are stainless
as they are getting very rusty.

if any body has any good comments i would like to here them

get back to them as soon as possible and tell them the problems you are having(without getting irate!!) a lot of my mates have or have had janspeed exhausts and only one of them had a problem and they were very helpfull this was a year/18 months ago but as long as you are civil to them they should help you resolve the problems you have. on a side note how does it sound everyone i know with one sounds awesome!!.

I seem to remember a thread on Janspeed exhausts from a fair while ago. Again it was negative stuff.

I think it was either by one of the Euro NECO members on this board or on the Euro forum. Not too sure.

Hope you sort it soon mate.

I have a Janspeed twin system on my '99 V6 (from Cat back) and I haven't had any major problems with it. It does bang on speed humps from time to time but the lowering springs probably cause that. It also knocks on the floor occasionally on hard cornering.

On the plus side, it sounds superb - ideal balance - a throaty sound but without the droning that can make long journeys uncomfortable.

They seem pretty good value at £400.

Tim.
