Guys,

Let me know what you reckon to this. I know it's not a massive mod' but personally I reckon it'll look the mutts nuts !!

The idea is to have the 3rd brake light removed, Blanking plate welded in, re-sprayed, holes drilled and clear leds inserted in a cluster the same shape as the origonal light. The LED's will be clear but glow red when illuminated. Also have the Ford badge removed and the holes filled

I hope this makes sence guys, If not I probably wont bother trying to explain anymore at least not today cause I can't be arsed !! :smoke-g:

Also if anyone has a photoshop programme would you do me a favour and post a pic with the 3rd brake light and rear Ford badge removed.

that is a hell of a lot of work just to have led's as third brake lights why dont you really heavily tint it and just put 5mm led,s into original housing(led's will shine thru easily) or get a vinyl cover from the states(they do them in youre colour) that has cougar cut out of it just stick it over hey presto.if you are determined to remove it just blank it off all together and dont bother with a third light/put one at top(or bottom) of your rear screen.

Had a play myself and I reckon getting rid of the Ford badge and keeping the brake light looks cool.
