Well we get a lot of these but FINALLY I saw a modded cougar that I didnt recognize last night. It was late (heh, early for me actually) about 11pm or shortly after. Spotted briefly a silver cougar with full street weapon kit and huge aluminum wing. It was dark and a brief encounter so I dont have much else. It was at Bagley and Engle in Middleburg heights. Thought it was Armycat but the wing is different and this one was sans graphics. Any clues?

Well if you dont like that story how bout this one- you'll never believe it!

Ok- so bout 15 minutes ago I was driving home in this crappy cold rain. Comming through Richfield right where it goes from 40 to 30mph (north on rt.176). Behind this old man who is getting on my nerves- yeah, I was kinda close to him. Anyway, I decide to pass him a mile or so up the road. As soon as I pull to the left to pass I notice...a freaking cop right behind me! :banghead::stupid: So basically I know I am toast cuz I am now going like 50 in a 30 (prolly over 50). So the cop follows and pulls me over. Oh, and did I signal? Nope. So I give my info and he leaves for a sec. He starts to lecture me and mentions not the speed but that I am following too close and didnt signal...I then begin to argue that my car is totally capable of stoping before his should he decide to brake...bad idea. His response..." I can prove to you that I am right by writing you a ticket". Whaaaaaaaaa?!custom_images/emoticons/shocked.gif I totally got attitude and all he wanted to do was lemme know that I am pretty much an inch from road rage and needed to chill. Wow, So I shake his hand and thank him and that was that. Damn, he musta been just getting off work and didnt wanna do paperwork. Finally I get a bit of a break! Unfortunately I will prolly be driving that same stretch 2 more times today.

(oh yeah, my words to the cop when he asked why I was in a hurry; "my brother is about to SH!T his pants"...and actually it was true;) )

Slade.. man .. I think the last person you need to smart talken to is a cop who pulled you over!

You just need to get a crappy car to drive around in with 0 performance so you wont get into these situations.

I cant believe you got out of it though

Geeze, now I don't feel so cool getting out of my ticket. I was just about to get on 77N from 176. The charges: 55/40, no front plate, and my smoked license plate cover was too smoked. I just want to warn anyone who drives thru Richfield to be careful!!! Take it from me who's lived here for 19 years. And if you've got tinted windows it's best to stay out of the town completely. I know 3 people who got stopped for tints and had to peel them off on the side of the road so the cop could witness it. I'm not sure if they've still got such a hard on for that, but watch out. So good for you Slade because that'll never happen again. Do your 30mph in the 30's because right where you got nailed was a cop in the same place about 3:30am this morning. Either that or make sure your bro is with you from now on :)

And no Slade you can't have my GEO PRIZM

just drive slow like me and you won't get tickets.:)
I've never had a speeding ticket (knocking on wood)
got a ticket for running my truck down Rt18 (coming from Norwalk) with open headers though:biggrin:

The funny thing is, if some cop ever tried to tell me to rip off my tint in front of him so he could see it I would say F that dude. Take me to jail, but Im not taking any chances and you can suck it! Thats not a law that you have to remove it on the spot. I mean all they can ticket you for is too dark tint, and thats like 100bux, that is as long as you havent broken any other laws.... :bs: Dude Ive got out of 1moving violation, running a stop sign, and then gotten a friend out of a huge speeding and passing in a no passing ticket once and it was amazing. Lets just hope I dont get my first ticket this summer cuz I need mod money!

Slade stop being ghey before :slap: takes place!

"my brother is about to SH!T his pants"...

LOL

About the tints - I've heard that happening to people in West Chester, but supposedly if a cop says that you have the option of having them "professionally removed". Bring that up if a cop is giving you a hard time. If it doesn't work, sock him in the mouth, do a couple of spinkicks, and get the hell out of there... Or don't.

Peace

I have no luck with getting out of tickets.

Pretty much I just hand the cop my drivers liscense and he hands me a ticket. I dont talk I dont care what he has to say its not like its going to change my driving habits.

I havent gotten one in like 2+ years now thank god.
