Bad News.

Well for me it is anyway.

I don't know that I'll be on CaroNECO for the next few days, I'm going to go down to Columbia SC to my fathers funeral.

He passed away yesterday, May 29, around noontime. He had gone to the doctor for some blood work, and when he sat down he began to have seizures (he was shakey before he sat down), then he had a massive heartattack and the doctors couldn't bring him back.

He was 52 years old, John Andrew Cocklin.

His funeral will be either Monday or Tuesday...

If you have time please pray for my family.

I don't pray (though I should) but I will be thinking of you! I always think how bad it would be to lose a parent, and I am thankful for everyday I have, even if they are pains sometimes! I'm real sorry man, you can pm me or IM me on aim if you need to vent or anything.

Thanks everyone, you all have no idea how much this means to me. If I could express this in words I would, but I can't. Just knowing that your words, prayers, and thoughts are with my family and me means the world to me.

There have been times when I've felt empty, and times when I've felt full. I hide all my emotions, including the ones I feel now of saddness and anger. I still don't know why I'm angry, I'm not angry at God, I'm just angry, but of course I don't let anyone (especially my family members know it). My father left my mother and I when I was 2 1/2 years old, in Washington DC. We moved down here when I was 3, and I've been here ever since. He hasn't be the "biggest" thing in my life, he wasn't even there a lot of times when I REALLY needed him, but all in all, through in through, I loved him and still do love him.

We are heading down to SC tomorrow, and the funeral is on Monday at 3. I had to go get fitted for a suit since I don't actually have one.

I've met some of you a few times, some more than a few, and never met others, and yet you all have something nice and considerate to say. This means a lot to me, and I will always have you all in my mind.

Also thank you Julie and Todd for calling me, that means a lot too. My mom asked who called, and when I told her, she smiled and said she was proud of me...then she began to break down and talk about raising me, and how much my dad meant to her, and how much respect he had for me.

So in essence, once again with much feeling, THANK YOU to ALL!!
