Seeing all of the problem posting recently I thought I would highlight one I have.
Problem 1
When driving around in urban, my cat sometimes increases it's revs by itself.
Usual situation is that I will come up to a stop point, apply brake and slip out of gear and all of a sudden the revs increase up to around 3500 with out me even touching the accelerator.
This will then continue for around five seconds until the revs come back down to rest.
If the car gets some motor way driving, then the problem goes away for a short time but returns.
The car has a full FSH and Ford keep doing little jobs on it but up until now have not been able to sort it out.
Any ideas?
Problem 2.
Since buying the car I have had problems with bulbs blowing. They seems to blow in sequence around the car at around 2 months apart.
Sequence is as follows:
High beam left
Main left
side Left
Side right
Main right
High beam right
Right rear brake light
Left rear brake light
and then around again.
I am on my third rotation now and Ford are foxed by it.
Any help? Any ideas? This is driving me nuts.
