Cigarette Lighter ??

Ok I tried search but it didn't give me what I needed. How do I take the cigarette lighter out. I remove the ashtray and the trim around the lighter but I cannot get the socket out. I am trying to replace the ashtray and lighter section with a 3 socket panal with switch, and a switch for my interior neons.

You need to remove the center console and take the lighter off from behind. Once you get the console off, you will clearly see how to remove the lighter.
