View Full Version : Hitting NJ this weekend!

Hello all, just wanted to see what was up in NJ since I'm coming to visit this weekend. How's the weather suppose to be Friday and Saturday? My boyfriend and I are going to Six Flags on Saturday, leaving right after work on Friday. Is there anything else to do in Jackson besides Six Flags? Anyway, never been there, so I was curious.

NOPE...nothing in Jackson to do at all... Sorry.
You can take a ride over to the Six Flage Outlet Center and go shopping, it's a like 6min down Rt 537 (which is what great adventure is off of).
Besides that, there's nothing to do. I live about 20min from there...and I know there's not a thing. :)

No rain, I'm sick of rain. It's been raining here for like a week straight. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to be wet :naughty: I didn't figure there was much else to do there since I've never heard of the town before. I don't think I've even been to NJ except for Camden, and that wasn't a lot fun. Is it just me, or is that place really nasty? No offense to anyone that lives there...Anyway, thanks for the info. and hopefully the weather will hold out.

theres paint ball. Call ahead to see if the rides are open. Sometimes they close the good rides in rain.

So we went to Six Flags on Saturday. It was fun, but what's up with the hotel situation? There are no hotels. The only one was in Freehold (Freehold Gardens). We stayed there, it was nice, but you'd think there would be more places to stay around there. And what's up with the "fines double in 65mph zones" thing? All in all it was fun though. Nice area, saw the paintball place and the outlets.

Still cloudy and going to rain in PA right now. It was sunny this morning, now it looks crappy again.

Its Camden, its no supposed to be fun. Concerts are the only thing good happening there. After one concert i saw a bunch of woman standing on the sidewalk across from the prison doing sign languge up to the prisoners in the window. I dont know how they could see what they were signing but they must have cause they were signing back.
