Forced Air Induction Kits

Am I right in thinking that because a forced air induction kit has a filter that is encased you don't get the noise like an open filter.

So does the weapon R ram kit still give you more noise?

I have the WeaponR kit and fitted it without the Cold air box and ram air first and it definatly makes an audiable difference overstandard, the Cold airbox does reduce the rumble of induction but I can still hear it suck when I tap the accelerator from inside the car which is amazing since my exhaust is soooo loud.. its all good

i agree with gareth

i've got the weapon-r kit haven't got the cold air box fitted yet though and it is loud.
