I know this will be a little biased on this site, but really, do we want to invite Contours again??

Other than that, what did you guys think of this year. I feel it flowed a lot better and there was much less time spent waiting around and overall it seemed less "chaotic." Other than that, is there anything that needs improvement, anything that should be added to the bill or dropped. How did the food situation work?

I don't need feedback on the dates. All I can say is next year it will be in May, Saturday or Sunday I don't know, but chances are good it will be Memorial Day weekend again since Mosport is the week before and anything before that is too cold..

Thanks.

Next time...gotta remember frisbees, footballs....or how about a softball game?

Other than that....it was great.

Memorial Day weekend is always a good pick. The weather was much better this year. The BBQ worked out perfectly, I hope to do the same type of pot-luck setup at my event (http://excelcier.cougarfest.com/extravaganza) in August.

I agree, some kind of organized event would be cool to add onto the day to make it longer, either some cool fun sports game, like soccer / volleyball / football or something, or maybe a group trip to like the Spanish Aerocar, or maid of the mist or something. That would definitely be a plus.

My other thought would be to try to identify a hotel early ( like in the next few months ) for next year and try to get a group / early-bird rate.

This year was much better than last years. The weather was beautiful, and it was nice to not have to rush back home to work since it was a holiday weekend. I liked saving money and getting to eat with everyone by having the picnic. It was also nice to not waiting at the circle for 2 hours for people to show up.

I think a trip on the Maid of the Mist would be a good thing to add for next year. If people wanted some sport activity after the picnic, I vote for lawn darts.

I think the only thing I would change is the day it happens. The weekend is fine, but i'd prefer a saturday instead of a sunday. That way, people don't have to rush home. Just a thought. :)

Other than that, everything was great. The BBQ was a great idea. The cruise route was perfect. The park is great. Theres nothing else I would change. ;)

The Contours......I say invite them if they dont show up no big deal. The more interesting cars we have the better. I dont go to CEG....but how well was it advertised on their site??

Food situation was good. :) Definitly a Saturday next year. Though the Sunday ended up being good for me this year......so that I could spend the day helping Mikes pick up his kit and putting it on his car.

For the hotel thing....Ken and I spent many hours looking into group rates last year and I dont think anyone stayed over night. Also, you need more than 4 people booking rooms to get a group rate.......

At least we know that next year there will be approx. 10 people that have got the Cruise route memorized. ;) LOL

Had a great time this year... maybe next year some group sporting events, maybe a full-fledged mod meet (on physical stuff, engine stuff tends to be iffy when you're 20-100 miles away from home :grin;)

Other than that, it was fine with me
