I brought a short aluminium one. It looked cool but i got sod all reception
I'm now using the origonal one chopped down. Pull off the rubber stopper, cut the arial (fibre glass I think) with a hacksaw, wittle down the end to the right thickness (the rod is tapered) and push back on the stopper.
Jobs a good un !!

I just picked up a Puma one from scrap yard. Cost £1 I think.
anti theft aerials are available from the club site in different colours or from Autostylin
What is the reception like with the anti theft ariels from auto stylin??
Has anyone got any opinions on them?
Gav,
Check out

By the two tone ones do you mean the flame ones? If so, what colour did you get? and how much, every time i go to the order page on the site it won't let me on it says "unnavailable"
Thanks................Gav.
Hi Gav,
Yes for two tone read flame.
When I originally visited their site there were pics of the flame and the reverse flame. Very attractive. Subsequently the pics were reduced although product still available. Have just revisited their site and it is obviously waiting for updates. Why not send them an e-mail? Originally I found their response good & fast. More recently not so.
Have not got round to buying another aerial from them yet but I intend to, 1) because of variable/indifferent/nil reception on 6" around the UK 2) I'm going to try one the flame coloured.
Hope this helps.
