according to blackcoog's how-to,
Do I need svt TB, and 3.0TB both?
if I am wrong, correct me.

You can get by with only the SVT, but there is more work involved. Such as running hose to your IACV and blocking off the IACV holes in the top of the manifold.
ic, but I think I should buy 3.0 tb, svt2.5tb cuz I am worry about something.
and here is another question.
which year 3.0upper will fit cougar 2.5?
I found 2001 tarous 3.0 upper. it will fit? its black!

I have both throttle bodies also. I never used the 3L. I'll sell it to you if you want it. 98-2000 aluminum UIM's will work.
2001 taurus 3.0 upper will not fit? I don't know it is made by aluminum or plastic yet. it is black
just 98-00 aluminum?

I will help you out mindtrip. NO they will not work. Just like he said 98-00 upper. The new one IS plastic and that is why it doesn't work. As far as the TB. Just get the 3L one from mindtrip if you aren't too mechanically inclined. Or go with the 2.5 SVT TB from 1stfordparts.com if you think you can handle it...
