Still have all the info & design...I even had some EMBLEMS made...I'll attach some pics. (If you need some; pick a color, a size, and tell me how many you need...I have a local vinyl shop that I work with that has the design in their computer...they can make whatever I want in terms of size, color and quantity.)

Okay, here's the deal...The MORE I buy the LOWER the price, so EVERYONE who wants decals, POST some information for me:

1) What Color you want (just about every color is available...white, black, silver, gold, green, bright red, dark red, blue, orange, yellow, etc, etc, etc).
2) What size (I believe the ones in the pic are 3" in diameter...That's as small as they can get...I can do them HUGE too if you want a rear-window decal, or anywhere in between).
3) How many you need.

Like I said, the buy-in will be completely dependant on HOW MANY we want...As of right now, it looks like six, so that would be something like ten bucks each...EVERYONE who wants them PLEASE POST so I can get the price down! (If there are enough orders, I should be able to get them for about $6 each.)

When I originally did this, I fronted all the cash to get them made and it took FOREVER to get my money back, so I won't be doing that again...Once I CONFIRM the orders (DO NOT post unless you are SURE you want them), I will confirm it with the shop and get the FINAL price...I'll need you to send me the $$$ and I'll get your decals in the mail the NEXT DAY (using regular USPS it will take five days or less for them to reach you).

EDIT...Just to let you know, the pic is NOT my car...That is Sunni's car (before she turned into a traitor and moved to Florida! haha!) Those decals are acutally SILVER metallic, but because of the flash they look white. I'll attach a couple pics of MY car with the LS NECO emblem installed in place of the Merc badge on the decklid.

I want 2 white 3". Although, $10 a piece does seem a little high for a 3" decal. Local shops will do a 4x6 for like 5 bucks.

Okay a couple of things to cover...The reason that the decals are expensive is two-fold:
1) It's not worth their time to just make one or two, so they have to charge more to make it worth their while. (Remember this is a small-time operation...just a husband & wife and one or two employees...They specialize in banners, but do custom work like mine.)
2) The small size of the 3" decal is difficult to cut and prep...If you want a larger one it's actually cheaper (or the same price)...like a 5" or 7" decal might be a little less...the lettering is the difficult part...Once the decal is cut they have to remove the excess material, and the small size make it REALLY hard to work with.

The EMBLEM is from a company called www.emblemart.com...Take a look at the site...They can do ANYTHING you want...You can get that emblem in any color you like and even have it ILLUMINATED if you like...They are expensive (again due to the small order and custom nature of their work), but if you want to do a group-buy I can get that price down...Since they already made two emblems for me, the design is already finalized and in their computer, so let me know if you really want one and I'll talk to them. If anyone else is interested in an EMBLEM, please POST so I can get that price down as well. (I can probably get them at about $25-$30...maybe less depending on interest.)

If anyone wants to source out the work at THEIR local shop, please do...the design is attached above; copy it to a disk and take it to YOUR shop and see how much they want to do it...I'm certainly not making any money doing this, so if you think your shop is cheaper, by all means have them do it. If you find a shop that does them cheaper, then I will be more than happy to let you take over this.

Charles, i have worked with some vinyl b4 and i agree with the small size, it is more difficult, but you are also using less vinyl. Go ahead and upgrade me to the 5" if its gonna cost the same.

Like I said, if you want to see if you can get them done cheaper in your area that would be great! Anytime we can save each other money it's a GOOD thing!

I know that it's less vinyl, but I actually bought JUST the vinyl (in sheet form) from them before (to do some custom ideas I had) and it was CHEAP (in fact they actually GAVE me some that they had laying around)...it's the time and labor (not to mention the equipment required) that costs $$$. BTW...The vinyl I had the shop use the last time around was the highest quality they offered...There is a cheaper grade of vinyl (I know b/c I bought some decals online before & they used they low-grade stuff...it sucked a**!) but I figured there was NO WAY I was going to have Lone Star NECO decals made with inferior materials!

Maybe you might want to take the design to some shops in your area and see how much they want to do it...Couldn't hurt to ask, right?

Just keep POSTING your interest in these, and I'll get them made (unless someone can find a shop to do them cheaper)!

Hey Charles, you say the shop has it finalized on their computer right. Could you possibly get the finalized product from their computer onto a floppy and email me the finalized product as in the computer. That way i could check with my local shop and see what type of prices my local shop could get.

And i mailed the sample picture to my graphics guy and only making a few he said like 12.00 was the best he could do unless he did like 30 of them thed he could do it for cheaper:rolleyes: no one wants to help anyone out these days...lol so charles if you dont mind keep workin on this for us

I can't remember how much EXACTLY the shop charged me last time, but I think I ordered like 20 from them at that time in different colors...I have a really good relationship with them, so now that I know there are SERIOUS buyers, I'll see EXACTLY what kind of deal I can work out. If the 5" decals are cheaper or the same price, I'll get those done. Either way, I'll post about whatever I find out. ($12 each sounds about right for a small order...Like I said, the TIME & LABOR is what costs the $$$.)

Okay all, sorry for my tardiness (just got back from the shop), but HERE'S THE DEALI-O...

The cost for making EIGHT decals (which is the total as of right now) will be...

$8 each (plus tax). Grand total $8.66 per decal.

That price is for EITHER the 3" OR the 5" ; YOUR CHOICE.

Me making the meet is starting to look doubtful...I may be in training for my new job at that time...I'll keep ya' posted on that one.

SO, I'll need everyone to send me the money for their decal(s). If you wouldn't mind throwing in a "little extra" to help cover the cost of the large shipping envelopes I'll need to buy and the actual cost of shipping, I would REALLY appreciate it.

Okay here's another update;

I just received payment from SPOOKI today (Thank you very much!)

I'm just waiting for the payment from Koreanboi...As soon as that payment arrives I will head down to the shop and have the decals made!

If I get there in the morning, the decals will be ready the same afternoon, so I'll post when the final payment arrives and I should be able to ship everyone's decals the same afternoon (or next morning)!

I just started my new job last week and have been pretty busy...spent my day off installing those Z3s to get my stock fenders shipped out to Kamacougar (since he has NO fenders and needed them pronto!)

I went to the vinyl shop this afternoon to pick up everyone's decals, and the girl behind the counter couldn't find the order! (SO hard to find good help these days!) She said the owners of the place will be back Monday and if they can't find the order they will duplicate it and everything should be ready to pick up late that afternoon. That means I should be able to get everyone's decals in the mail Tuesday morning. I'll continue to keep everyone posted.

Okay all, I snuck away from work for a minute and came home & thought I'd post the news... The owners of the vinyl shop got back this morning and found the decals. I just picked them up and everything looks great! I'll have to get back to work shortly, but I'm going to package all of them up this evening after work and they will be in the mail first thing tomorrow morning!

Okay everyone...I just finished packing up everyone's decals all "nice-n-purdy"! I trimmed the backing paper, cut manilla folders to hold the decals securely and keep them from getting bent in the mail, and then put them in large envelopes (with the little brass fold-down tabs) and then taped them up securely. I used the same procedure for all the decals except Koochiecougar's decal (whose payment came with a self-addressed stamped envelope). I put your 3" decal in between two 3x5 cards for protection and taped it up and then put it in the envelope you sent me.
I'm headed to the post office in the morning, so everyone should be getting their decals in a few days!
Please post and let me know your decal(s) arrived and what you think of them!
