here's a pic of the outside layer of stitches on my head. you can count 15 in the picture. there is lil more than 10 on the inside of the wound. all in all, i must say that i am in a lil pain right now, cause everytime i move my eyebrow it feels like the stitches are ripping, so that means no laughing for the week :cry:. and for those of you who know me, you know that is gonna be one heck of a job, but i think i can manage.

plastic surgery. i had a mole on my face that was about 3/4" that grew to about 1" in a month, so they had to cut it off (i've had problems with cancerous moles in the past). and i didn't want a scar on my face, so they sent me to a plastic surgeon. the cool thing is that they injected novacaine into my face and for about 12 hours yesterday i couldn't make any facial expressions cause my face was 'dead'. i hope it won't be hurting me for when we have the meet, that would suck.

about 3 years ago I had a knot growing on the top of my head (not cancerous, some freaky thing). The doctor decided to remove it in his small procedure room instead of doing it at the hospital. So they numbed up the top of my head and cut into it. I am sitting up in this bed and while he is over at his tool tray looking for something, I am like excuse me I have blood running down my face. LOL the look of horror on their face almost made me freak out too. They hit a vein when they had cut in there and within 2 seconds I looked like Carrie after she had blood dumped on her. I switched doctors after that. :tongue: will never do something like that again "in office". You should of seen them trying to clean me up to get me out of the office without freaking people in the waiting room out. My stitches only hurt for a couple days, but then again it was on top of my head and that skin doesn't really move unless you make it move.

DAMN!!!! i bet that was freaky. i was too doped up to even realize they had a knife in my skull, so i don't think blood running down my face would have bothered me.

Mary, that might be the scariest thing imagineable!! Holy crap! I would've run out of there yelling with blood dripping all over...scare the crap out of everyone! lol
I had a cyst removed from my ear canal one year...it was filling up my whole ear and the doctor tried to "lance" it first by jamming a scalpel into it...that hurt like a bastard and did no good at all...so they sent me to outpatient at the hospital to have it removed...they used local anesthetics, and I wasn't supposed to feel anything...they even asked me what radio station I wanted to listen to while they cut it out of there...but then the doctor made the first incision and I felt it! It hurt so bad!! Then some nurse turned a knob or something and I was like "Hey, why didn't...................." Then woke up in recovery :)

yeah.....not fun as you can imagine.....
6" needle.....eep!

it was a soccer injury....i wasnt playing in the state semi-final game (or any other game for that matter) so i had my pager in the pockey of my warmup pants.....we won in shootouts so we all went and slid in front of our fans....
well, i forgot about the pager....WHAM!!!! nut swelled up to the size of a large grapefruit (bigger than a softball) so i had to go get it drained....it was all yellow and red lookin crap.....MAN did that hurt...

Ladz has the worst story, and I could've gone the rest of my life without hearing about his nut being the size of a grapefruit and having to be drained...:ugh:

i just need to know what time and where...ill try my hardest to make it. i wanna get this dash painted up....other than that my car is in pretty bad shape...still gotta get it fixed from gettin run off the road. so it looks like ****.
i need a kit too....and wheels....ack! and money in general.....anyone need anything fiberglassed?
