v6focus

hey everyone! I'm building a 2.5L in my Focus and just need some tips on what parts I should buy. I know that I want to get the Vortec supercharger, so any mods I get right now I want to be compatable with the SC. I've found there isn't to many after market parts for the car so far, unless I use SVT parts. Am I right on this or just not looking at the right websites? Links, pictures, idea's, anything would help. Thanks ahead of time.

i saw SVT had the idea to build a v6 focus with the contour svt engine in it...for some reason i liked the idea a lot. Go over to the 3.0 forums and read...well everything. build a 3.0/svt hybrid setup with a vortec like kingers cougar...should do some amazing times.

Exactly!
If you want to build a really BAD ASS v6 focus..... check out the 3.0 forum.
and trust us on this one...a 3.0/2.5 hybrid will let you lots of power. totally n/a.
if you put low compression pistons and s/ced it on top of that.. whoooaah! crazy..
Keep in mind if you plan on getting a vortec S/c and you want headers too... you will have to contact MSDS regarding a special front header...to allow shaft clearance.
the tarus 3.0 duratec block is the same dimentions as the 2.5 block. You are MUCH better off dropping a 3.0 block in with 2.5 heads for high compression or 3.0 heads for low compression. \
I have seen a focus with the SVT 2.5 contour engine. it ran a litte faster than turbo zetec. BUT...if you do 3.0/svt hybrid...OMG you will have a fast focus.. est 220+fwhp if you build internals you could make alot more too. S/C it and they sky is the limit.

Yeah at NOPI two years ago they had a SVT 2.5 in a focus...
I imagine with a 3.0 in there thats all you would need!
it would fly.
