installed centerforce clutch and a new slave cylinder.
all lines hooked back up, and nothing happens when trying to bleed the clutch.

open bleed valve while pushing down on the clutch.
close valve.
repeat.

when the clutch pedal goes down i can see the fluid level in the resevoir slightly go down, but even after i close valve and clutch comes back up, the fluid level raises back up again.

If the fluid is really going down when you push on the pedal with the bleeder open the air or the fluid in the system is moving the only way for it to come back after you tighten the bleeder is if the air is returning back into the system through a leak. Try opening the bleeder with a tite hose attached to it and the other end of the hose in brake fluid push the pedal down and and release see if you have fluid movement.

you don't have to bleed the clutch the same way you bleed the brakes, right? the FSM says to open the bleeder, press on the clutch until no more bubbles come out, then close the bleeder. they don't say to close the valve while depressing clutch to avoid air bubbles like you would with the brakes. perhaps you're not getting that far and that's why the level goes back up?

try pumping the clutch 5-10 times, then hold it down, before opening the bleeder. Two person job!

heh yah was doin it with 2 people
ill try and see if theres any leaks in the hose leading to the slave cylinder but since its held on with those little clips i would think it should be pretty tight in there.
also tried pumping it many times before opening valve.

whats the possibility the clutch master cylinder is bad?
i have a new one but i dont wanna replace it unless i have to...
working down by the pedals is way too cramped to wanna do willingly.

Well, if it was a bad slave cyl, you'd have problems shifting cause the clutch most likely wouldn't disengage properly. You can't change that without removing the trans! Did you hear any air escaping when you opened the bleeder? It's possible the bleeder is broken and just isn't working I suppose.

You are suppose to close the valve when you let the pedel back up according to my service manual anyway. Man ov3n when is your bad luck going to stop.

Make sure the bottle you are using to collect the fluid isnt presureized.... Check your hoses for obstructions next... perhaps some poo fell in the lines while it was apart.

Hahaha.
Lets hope its not POO!

Mine was a pain to bleed too, at first it did jack!
After a while though it started working, when I get a chance this week we will bleed to victory!
