Out of 178 registered for cougarfest have paid.

Let's put it like this:

Events at the event cost money
Food at the event cost money
Raffles at the event cost money
giveaways at the event cost money
materials for the event cost money

We have NO money. Please, if you could-please send in your registration fees.

We understand that money can be tight at times, but to make this event the best we can possibly make it, we need money for reservations.

You're right. I haven't paid, I'm not going to, and even if I wasn't being considered Steve's guest, then I still wouldn't pay because Steve and I aren't attending.

I am sorry I havent paid yet, but I still dont know if I will get the days off...to be honest with ya I probably wont know until a week or two before the event....boss only makes the schedules week to week....and sometimes they give you the days off you ask for....sometimes they only give you SOME of the days off...and sometimes if the resort occupancy is very high or totally booked, then we cant get the days off at all. As soon as I can confirm that I will be able to get the days off, then I will pay ya :wiggle:

Phantom..........I was just signed on under Steve (didn't feel like switching the computer's log on) so I made the post under him. He's still the one organizing it. We're just not attending.....a lot of things are going on in July and there's not enough time to do them all in.

SO wait.. let me get this straight. I just paid Steve $30 and he isn't going to be there to attend Cougar Fest? So who is going to run Cougar Fest when we are in Virginia???? I would think as a ORGANIZER.. you would ATTEND the function. Why are you in charge otherwise?

How about I postpone my wedding, and also the wedding of my cousin, I will postpone our move into a new apartment, I will take time off from a hopefully soon started new job, I'll put my life on hold so that I may better assist in being at Cougarfest. I apologize for a lot of things coming up 7 months after I became Organizer of the event because the one time Head Organizer stepped down leaving me with little choice but to take it over.

Thanks for your support however, I'll be sure to continue to cater my life to better serve you.

There are 2 other organizers.. you're $30 was not to "ensure" I show up.. it's to ensure everything you need for a well run event shows up. Once it's paid for, there is little that needs to be done. Brad has done this before and Jeff is more than capable also. I am NOT the only organizer.

I didn't realize there were three other organizers for Cougar Fest. Just seemed like you were the only one in charge. You are the only one making all the rude and harsh remarks on here.....

I do not keep track of your life, therefore, I have don't know what is going on in your personal life. I feel the comments you made to me were uncalled for and inappropriate. If there was so much going on in your life, then maybe you should of step down from being organizer of Cougar fest.

Heather......that is the type of response and behavior that also makes an organizer's job harder. Thank god he's not organizing it next year, its really not worth the aggravation. Sorry you didn't get the memo, but there are more important things in life than CF and NECO. Now you can be my guest and call Ms. *****y, because in this case it'd be true.

I just cant see the big deal. If people want to go, and want it to be a nice event then register!! It took me no more then 5 minutes if that. I know people have to budget their money because they own homes, children etc. But in all seriousness the registration fee is not that much and how long have we known about cougarfest? You could have saved a dollar a day for a month and there is your fee right there. If your bringing someone make them throw up their half so you can get it in. Im not trying to start an arguement with anyone here but i guess im a little annoyed because its my first cougarfest and I'd like to know im going to enjoy myself and have things to do.
