I finally got my SVT UIM and Throttle body in the mail today, thank god... The gasket that came with it was pretty messed up so I went a town over and bought a new one. I see on the inside its got a little semi-circle lip that juts out and will stick into the path of air-flow by about an 8th of an inch. Im guessing this is Normal, since both the one i got and the new one from ford are the same way... but should I cut this little piece off to make the inside of the gasket perfectly circular? It appears to have no purpose except to obstruct air flow.

Also, does anyone know if I can get a new small 'SVT' sticker for the TB? Yes mine has one, but it was dirty, and when I rubbed it with my thumb, the grime came off but so did some of the blue in the decal.

The gaskets for between the UIM and the LIM were all in tact and cleaned up fine, ive got the appropriate TB cable, as well as the TB bracket. Is there anything else I should know/buy before installing the components this weekend? Will brakleen hurt the powder coat finish on the UIM? I wanna clean these pieces up as good as possible before installation.

I threaded the TB to the UIM with the gasket in place and now I see its pretty much a non-issue. The bracket, however, brings up another question. I see where it mounts to the UIM in 2 places, and the third mount lines up with the bottom right bolt on the TB, but it hovers about a half inch above it. Is there some spacer or something im missing?

i believe i ended up using a small metal bushing, to take up the slack on that space...

my SVT gasket also has those bumps... reason being, check out the inside of the stock UIM... you'll see 3 raised bumps for EGR. SVT UIM doesn't have these bumps and i assume their purpose is therefore the gasket's responsibility now.
