Everybody vote. Do we wanna have one and if so what? when? where?
I was thinking if we did, lets make it something fun. Also, let's try to set a goal of breaking the "6 car curse".

I'd be up for one. Whenever and whatever is good for me, just need to know early so I can get the time off. And I need to buy more mods.
PS-Did u get your car finished? I was feelin to crappy to stay in Indy any longer. I came home and slept till Monday.

LOL I wonder why ;)
Kyle (BleedBlue) got the dash done and guages installed. It still needs another coat of silver and it will be good to go. I got the sunroof recovered Tuesday night. I still need to do the door panels but I am a little nervous about taking them apart.
I think we need to find something fun to do. Maybe we can do the go-kart racing in Indy or maybe all register for a car show and have a bunch of Cougars there.
I dunno, people toss out some ideas if you have heard of something going on.

That's cool, but to Lafayette and back in a day wouldn't work for me. Three hours away is about my max for a day. But then again there is nothing saying I have to be at every meet. I could just cheer you guys from the sideline this time.

we want u there mary. It would not be so bad if u were meeting up with brandon and in indy to make a caravan. im sure there would be more and i bet we could get a good caravan. there is also a place on rockville road close to where the meet was that has two gocart tracks, two puttputt courses, a driveing range and a batting cage. that could be fun. I would also like for all of us to go to irp one night also. let me know what everyone else thinks.

I wasn't talking about the car show, I honestly can't do it. I was thinking the go-kart place sounded fun. But seriously, you guys ought to do it. It could be like a northern mod meet. We could do the other stuff another time.

does everyone want to meet up for the gocart thing. there is a slick track with miget type car and a roadcourse. It would kick ass. Plus there is nothing i would love more to kick marys ass on the track. lol

Kyle you big bully, picking on the little girls ;) j/k but seriously, that wouldn't be hard, never been before, that's why I think it would be fun. But I also can get a fierce competive streak (LOL like nobody could tell that;) ) so I am up for that challenge!
I will get an e-mail out to everybody and see what's good and see who's interested. I also want to see if Jagular wants to show off his shop, I really wanted to see it and what he's working on.

:poke: you know, you guys can go too, it's only like 3 hours drive and you've met 3 of the members.
I will let you know on the door panels. Kyle was needing to do his too, so we were going to help each other. If you came, you might be able to get help with your pre-cats. Their meets are pretty cool with everybody helping everybody do their mods.

That is right by my house. It would kick ass. lets do it. Let me know some more details on how many times we can run and how many cars usally show up. Mary this would be much closer for u. I may go to the meet in st. louis. If the wife lets me. lol havent got to say that yet. then we could mod after the auto crossing.

I was supposed to go to the autocross today, but I couldn't get up this morning.
They meet at the Walesboro airport.
Usually about 60 cars, but its a joint meet with Indy, so there should be a lot more.
4-6 runs is the normal routine.
I have been going to the KYSCCA in Louisville.
There are 120-160 cars, too many in my book, but we get 6 runs, because they are efficient.

Brandon's car would do really well on there with all the work he has done to it.

If he had my rims he couldent be tuched.

Your big ones or little ones? I don't really know about auto crossing enough to know what would help. I was just thinking with his gutted pre-cats and that suspension set up he's got, he'll do the best out of any of us.
scrapincougar99
05-27-2003, 03:26 AM
the big ones. Low profile z rated soft compound kuhmo escutas on a 17 inch rim would make his car stick the corner like it was on rails with all the susp mods he has.

who wants to do what. I would rather go to the airport and race my car. What do u want to do?

I just heard from jaged that he can't make it. I sent the e-mail out so that we can have more input. Especially since it seems we are the only ones talking about it. Hopefully we will get some responses.
