i have a problem with the driver side window when ever i put the window up it makes this horrible screaching noise. i thought it just might be dirty, so i cleaned it but this still happens... any thoughts of what is wrong?

Mine did this until I got them tinted... then it stopped. I noticed that you have your windows tinted, so if there has a been a change in temperature recently, it could do this....
mine did it the day after i bought my car from the dealer.. and it did it the day after i got tints.. and it still does it. its not everyday .. just on and off. I think this has been a known issue from the first cougar.
