Chuck,
Thank you, I can't wait to start putting some autocross stuff together.. I've had the camera just
over a week, and I have the benifit of having Pocono raceway just down the street,
I'm still getting used to the camera. I'll see if I can fit my "first" on the server. :D
thanks again,
Eric

I like the video. I guess having a Mac pays off. :) Was it pretty easy for you to do, and what kind of camera did you get?

Yeah having a mac pays off.. ;) No software to install, just real plug and play..
I can control the camera from the computer too.. works as a webcam.. LOL
imovie is ridiculously easy to use..
I ended up getting a Samsung SCD-23, for like 379 at sears...
Best buy had them for 400, but were out of stock
and I'm glad they were out of stock..
Pretty nice camera some of the features I liked that I was looking for
Firewire hook up,(has USB too)
Memory stick slot(only non sony item I found with this)
miniDV
also has night vision 0 lux recording..
I assume it wouldn't be as easy with this camera and a IBM compatible would it? Reason I am asking is that I recently found at that I am going to need to get a camera capable of being hooked up to a laptop for real time images.

Honestly I don't know..
I would ask GuidoThePenguin or GnuLoCo what he uses..
can't be all that difficult... or you could just buy a mac
