right got a place to do this in birmingham looking at between £30-£40 per car maximum need a months notice minimum to organise this it is just off the m5 jct 4 and they can lay on a few drinks etc anyone??
I would love to join you mate, but It is bit of a trek for me, so if anyone knows of one happening in the Kent, Surrey, London area I am up for it and you can count me in, I would be very interested to know whats happening inside my cat.

sorry for the iffy details this morning was on my way out the door for work im thinking of the middle of september as there are a few events coming up over the next few months so that everyone has a chance of coming the more cars there are the less it will cost a whole day is around £300/£400 or if there are only a few then its a MAXIMUM of £30/40 per vehicle they will not mess with the car on that day but they will give advise on air filters etc if there is enough interest i will contact a magazine(fast ford or the like)and see if they are interested in doing a feature as it is something different from rs turbo's etc will post more details this evening.

I would be up for it but have 1Q, do they just get the results of what is happening like bhp and torque or will they fiddle and see if they can get a bit more out of the engine?

HELL YEAH,
I'm well keen.
I can be in the land of Brummies in about an hour and a half.
Wessa, Don't forget Birmingham aint really that far you could be there in about 2 hours tops.
Where abouts in Essex are you? I used to live in Saffron Walden until about 6 months ago if you know it.

the reason i have picked birmingham is it is central for most people and pretty easy to get to for most people andy did try to organise one but the only one he could find was in norfolk!! which is miles away from everyone! i can get from birmingham to heathrow airport in an hour and a half driving fairly sensible so it is not that far people it would be nice to see what the cars are putting out my friend has a clio 172 which is only putting out 158bhp!! how gutting is that lol should have bought a proper car!

thats 5 with me need at least six ideally more any more takers post here to let me know the date im thinking of is the 3rd saturdayof september not open sundays failing that any objections to a weekday? it may help reduce the price as they are less busy during the week compared to the saturday.as i have stated september seems the best month as it gives people plenty of notice to arrange cover at work etc, secondly the club does have a lot of events over july, august and it may be one to many with people travelling and having to pay petrol etc.just to clarify they will take power runs on the dyno(rolling road) for each car and will give advice on any action needed but they will NOT mess with the car there and then as it is unfair on the other people attending and they may not have time to get everyones car on the dyno. i will need all confirmations by the 27th of julyat the latest and will need a small deposit(£10) off of everyone as i will have to pay a deposit when i book the day for this.
I am in as per usual!!! Catch me if you can

Yes if it's October.
If you are using a Ram Air filter or similar, you need to make sure the place uses a fan or the benefit of this will be lost in the rolling road test. Assume they will be fully equipped for this sort of thing ?

right thats 7 can anyone else interested post here by saturday 14th or email me madmale007@hotmail.com or pm me likewise if there are any questions i will do my best to answer them probably best to post them here so i am not emailing the same answer to different people once the 14th has past it will be harder for me to include others as i will be making arrangements for a set number if ANYONE ELSE is interested with a 85% chance of making it mid october let me know as it is easier to cater for too many than too few!!! once i have made arrangements i will need a small deposit of everyone interested(im thinking £10)to make a deposit on the day of booking it most of you have met me if anyone is worried about sending me a cheque you can confirm with mike my address as he has met me along with a few others!!.
so far we have

Right guys crunch time. I need to start collecting money. I have spoken to Mike and this is the conclusion we came to for doing this,
we have 11 cars "confirmed" so far these are;
MIKE
DAMIAN
ANDY T
MATT
SHANDY
TIM
WIZARD
GARETH
COLIN
HIGHLANDER
UKRPG
AND ME!
The easiest way to do this is to collect by cheque £35 of each of you. I will cash them and pay for the rolling road day then we will have the whole day and can let other members come along up to the maximum of 6 on top of those named above,if any other members come along, the cost(which is £350) will then be divided by more of us so will drop and i will sort out refunds on the day with everyone.
This will be easier to do than collect extra money on the day.
VERY IMPORTANTLY THE MONEY WILL BE NON REFUNDABLE UNLESS THE PLACE CAN BE FILLED BY ANOTHER PERSON, AS THIS WOULD PUT THE COST ABOVE MY ESTIMATE AND WILL NOT BE A REASONABLE PRICE FOR PEOPLE TO PAY.
ANY ONE NAMED ABOVE NOT ABLE TO MAKE THIS COULD YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.
MY ADDRESS TO SEND THE CHEQUES TO IS;
JASON JONES
1 LIBRARY WAY
RUBERY
BIRMINGHAM
B45 9JS
PLEASE MAKE ALL CHEQUES PAYABLE TO JASON JONES.
IN THE EVENT OF THIS BEING CANCELLED CHEQUES WILL BE RETURNED TO RESPECTIVE PERSONS.
CHEQUES MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE 8TH OF AUGUST AT THE LATEST.
Any problems or questions my e-mail is here (madmale@ibiza217.fsnet.co.uk) or PM me.
Could people who are coming/sending cheques please let me know here or via mail.
Thanks Jason

ok deadline has arrived and i only have 5 cheques
Matt and Andy have both contacted me to let me know whats going on.
I am assuming those who have not sent there cheque's OR contacted me to let me know if they are having problems do not want to take part in this event????
sorry to harp on guy's but i am also trying to organise my wedding which is only a few week's away and whilst i do not mind organising this,I can understand why other's involved with the club on a larger scale than me get so disheartened with the lack of feed back.
Thank you to those who have sent cheque's and who contacted me to let me know what is going on.
if this is going to happen i need feedback TODAY off of those who have not given it otherwise i will be forced to cancel this event to my dissapointment

It is a real shame that those who have said they will go have not responded.
How much extra is it going to cost those of us who have paid if we all decided to go ahead with the day.
It seems a shame with all the work that you have put in that it should be cancelled.

peter,
thanks for the support and all you other guys who have supported this.
it is nice to know it is appreciated and i understand now why people lose motivation sometimes to try and further the club,But hey got to keep persevering!!!
we have 11 people so far who are fully paid up which is a total of £385
the total cost of the day is £350+VAT which is around £415 Which means we are looking at another £2ish each.
the people who have paid so far are as follows
Paul tillsley
steve norfolk
peter smith
adrian seymour
gareth
mike
colin
tim
damo
andy
and me
Now as long as you guys are happy to pay the remainder(which is still inside of the amount i quoted per car) i am more than happy to go ahead and book the event and collect the odd change from everyone on the day.....if you guy's are happy with this please let me know via this thread so i can keep a track of who is who, as im getting a little confused with the amount of different e-mails im getting off of people!!.
a little extra note there is space for 18 cars total which still leave's room for a few more anyone else who wants to come along let me know via this thread.
thanks guy's
