I know I said I would stay with Empire but I am out. I have too bad of a temper and no patience for people to talk **** to me on a forum... Too much **** talking and this is not why I joined nor am I going to put up with it. I am going to change my username and leave Empire NECO. I liked the guys I met but I really don't think NECO is worth my while.

What the hell is going on??
I have no problem with people leaving but I wish I knew why 'exactly' people are leaving.
Everyone is more than free to do what they want and go where they please but I was under the impression that this was a pretty good Chapter, I may be wrong and that's why I want to know why people are jumping ship.
Like I said to Alisha, your reasons may affect others.

You are right. This is a pretty good chapter, but NECO is ****ty. It is filled with assholes who run their mouths every chance they get. Why would people care to be part of an organization where half of the members who post make everybody else feel unwelcome when an opinion opposes theirs. This I guarantee is part of the problem. I got dissed for being mad at a company that made several misleading statements to me, I got dissed for raising the idea that the only way to get my tranny fixed may be blowing it up (I was called a Tool, criminal, loser, dork, etc. I was called this when I didn't even have the full intention on taking action. I guess what I am saying is NECO isn't a good community to be in if you want to keep members. If Empire wants to be successful then gather info, make a website with all or most mods and how-tos, and form your own organization instead of being part of NECO. I really hate admitting I am part of NECO and refuse to be part anymore. I am getting a 3.0L and prepping and installing it with my brother in law. After this I will have a lot to offer as far as advice and how-tos but I refuse to give it to NECO because half the people on here have given me nothing but grief. That is my reason and I am sure I am not the only one....

there are a lot of members. PuckPuck called me a criminal (not exact words). He also said he is going to call ford on me and give them my name and "intentions". I hate to sound stupid, but if he actually did that I would personally hunt him down and break his face. I am on an internet forum and if somebody wants to get involved in my PERSONAL life (especially in a destructive way) there will be some serious hell to pay. MCON, CougarGT, ov3n, jojolmnop. Half of those are/have been moderators and that is just who pissed me off in the past couple of days.. When a moderator makes an obsecene comment towards me for no apparant reason other that he has nothing else to do it PROVES NECO IS A JOKE!!! So Jenna, stop taking Empire so seriously. Do you expect people to show up when the people in charge of the forum make rude and insulting comments to their members on a daily basis?? I don't. IF a club is stressing you out this bad you should seriously get into some counseling. This is just a car club and you should expect no shows. I am not saying you shouldn't be pissed, but take it down a notch because NECO in itself is a joke.

I understand that no shows are very irritating. When my friends don't come through like they say they are going to it pisses me off real bad. I WILL share the 3.0 info I gain with Empire. I WILL not share it on NECO though. I will try to post it privately on a website and give you guys the link or something but like I said before, I have been nothing but disrespected on NECO for having ideas that go against the grain and I will not be part of such a narrow minded organization. When I do finally get the engine (hopefully this Fall) I will keep you guys (non gender specific) updated....

Change my point of view?? Like some communist society?? Just because I speak my mind and take it personally when people like PuckPuck who have no clue who I am tell me they are calling Ford on me to have my warranty voided? I do not want to be like them and find it ok to be destructive in peoples personal lives when I have no idea who they are... This is why Empire needs to detach from NECO and just be EMPIRE. You guys can set up your Website with How-to and just as much info as NECO has. Then I will deeply consider joining again...

P.S. - Every Sunday in Rochester there is a big car show where people bring their rides and show them off. LAst Sunday there was probably 100 cars in the Charlotte beach parking lot. Camaros, honda, Acura, Mustang, every kind of car. MAny VERY modified cars.. There was almost a fight because somebody disrespected somebody elses car. If half of these NECO members cam down to Rochester and talked their sh*t they would get their asses kicked. This is my point of view because Rochester is no joke. A few years ago we had one of the highest murder rates in the country (per capita). I grew up here all my life and I learned to not disrespect people or you will get your ass handed to you :)

I'll just give one little point here, and leave the rest alone, because personal problems are personal and can not usually be fixed by anyone giving suggestions.

As far as I see the future of the Empire Chapter, I am against any seperation of the chapter from NECO. While there may be a few people in this "organization" that bring drama, I have met too many nice people in here to leave. I'm great friends with numerous Toronto Cougar Club members. I've had help online from many different people throughout the country and have also talked with members from FL, VA, and hung out with some great guys from Illinois at Cougarfest. I feel separation will only give Empire members a very bad name and will basically be outcast from the group.

I can understand your decision Mark from seeing some of the posts, I wish you the best and you should know you're still welcome to any of the Empire meets that we have, just drop me an e-mail and let me know if you're gonna come out.

I do plan on attending some meets here and there. Like I said before I will be available if anybody ever needs any advise. I am not a mechanic (that is my brother in laws job) nor am I the best at anything, but most of my mods I have done myself and the ones I haven't done myself I have helped in doing. I am serious about the 3.0L and am 90% sure I will get this accomplished in the next 6-8 months. When I do get the 3.0L and begin work if anybody ever wants to stop into Rochester I will more than willing to let them watch or help over a beer and dinner. I am sure everybody has seen some of my posts and at times I get rather mouthy but I am the type of person that doesn't take **** from anybody. Don't let this fool you into thinking I am an a-hole or have "anger" issues:) I have been in the Army since I was 17 and have been down to ground zero and this doesn't mean much but it is part of what has shaped my personality and point of view... I also have a neice (4 yrs old) and a nephew (2 yrs old) whom I would give my life for and see on a daily basis. Many people think I am a punk or immature for telling people to f' off if they throw grief my way but those of you who have met me know that I really like people and don't cause problems. So I assure you Ken, this wont be the last you hear from me and I will see all of you in the future....

sorry if im the only one that feels this way.. but you brought it upon yourself by posting about illegal activity. Some people might consider what you posted as innocent as stealing cable and some definately do not. The reason im saying you brought it upon yourself is because when you signed up for NECO there were explicit rules which you had to adhere to.. one of which was about illegal activity.

actually i just read the whole thing and its behavior like this that gets you banned, warned, striked or whatever. the point is the same.. here you are using this forum (BB) system to post about illegal behavior and threating people with physical violence. In all honesty you have to see it from someone else's point of view. Some of these people have been here since day 1 or near day and have invested lots of time and effort in making things work and getting things done for NECO and the cougars in general. so when someone comes in and does something against that.. youre doing something against their hard work. whatever.. the point is the same. you break rules and expect no one to take you seriously. well re-read your own posts.. youre taking what they say just as seriously and personal. it goes both ways.

btw for the comment you just posted you would normall get a strike for but since youre leaving anyways.. i guess it doesn't matter.

NECO has its problems sure.. i'll even admit to that. but never the less i have to side with NECO as an organization on this one.. and if you want to go.. then thats fine with me. we dont need BS going around by either you or any moderators that feel you're in violation of a rule.

what comment did I just make could get me banned?? I have made the decision to leave the forum because of many reasons and one is I cannot control my temper when people talk **** to me... People have called me immature. This is incorrect. I am not immature, I just have a bad temper and I am a big enough man to admit this is MY problem and since I cannot deal with it for now I have to leave.... I don't have a temper because people disagree with me, but when somebody throws in an insult or otherwise agravating word I take it personally. I love having healthy arguments, but a healthy argument to me does not include calling names or making judgements. After a while I lost it and when people did this I started telling the to "shut the f' up" among other things. I shouldn't have done this and I realize I should have ignored the comments... I WAS WRONG for keeping the fire burning with comments like this. Contrary to popular belief I am probably one of the nicer more honest guys you will meet, and if somebody treats me with respect I will walk to the ends of the earth for them. So basically, if I end up going to a meet in the future please do not judge me on what I have told people on this forum. Everybody has something that sets them off and disrespect is mine. If you meet me in real life I will hold no grudges. Like I said before, when I get the project going I will take time out of my schedule (providing somebody drives down) just to show them what I am working on and answer any questions I can...
