When and where are we having the next one? My girlfriend gave me the go ahead to have it at our house in Belleville, IL. I do have a garage and plenty of space. I need some help installing my Visteon sides , so it's a good excuse. Let me know what you all think.

This weekendis no good for me because I'll be up in Chicago (sister's birthday). After this weekend I should be open for the next couple of weeks, except June 8th (Litchfield car show).

anytime on the weekends after 1 is good for me..
I'm pretty much open on any weekend until the end of June, so you guys just let me know. This weekend or Next weekend are good with me....... Actually, next weekend would be the best because I'll have my front end in by then. If I can't get it all in myself, I may need a little assistance.
Alright, next Saturday may not be the best at my place.....I am going to the Army Ball at 6:00 pm. Maybe Sunday? Let me know.

any weekend except june 6 thru the 8. I need to get some paint if were goin' moddin. That would be sweet if crispy could come down. We'll have to all go out at night and caravan...we shouldn't loose anyone though.

and steve...let me see what my buddy says about laser red...may be able to get you something really close in a spray can...what other color do you want in the interior?
Like I said before, next Saturday is the only day that may be a bit tight Have to be out by around 5 pm. Other than that, I am free. So I guess it's either this weekend or next Sunday for me.

depending on when this meet is, i might actually comecustom_images/emoticons/shocked.gif. it's been what..... 8 months since i last made it all the way to a meet (remember, last time i tried to come my g/f wrecked my truck). anybody have any idea on how long it would take to paint my headlights? and has anyone that is going to the meet actually done this before? what paint do i need to do this?

Hey kyle, I've already got the paint....or at least the color I want. I just have to get the spray cans. Once we figure out what weekend we will have it I'll go get some. I'm open the next two weekends.

Rista- I think we should be able to get it done, exspecially if Crispy comes, since she would be the only one there who has done it. I don't think its that hard, just sealing it back up and cracking it open is the hard part from what i can tell...
So.........The big question! When are we having it? It sounds like next Sunday is the best day. Anyone?

They changed the auto-x schedule on me recently and there is now an event next Sun (Jun 1) so I won't be able to make it until mid afternoon if we do it then.
I have opened my headlights up. It's really not that hard, it just takes a little patience.
Anyone up for this Sunday?

If I could get somebody to help me take my door panels off my car, I'll be there. I got my sun roof recovered and I really want to do my doors.
Actually, Kyle and I traded out our door panels and rear panels......Shouldn't be a problem getting them out. Hopefully some other people will want to get out here and give a hand...I still have those sideskirts that need to be installed. Tonight I am going to try and get them on myself.

I would be sooooooooooooo up for this weekend if anybody else wants to! Pretty pretty please! One of these days I need to buy some patience or something. I've wanted to recover the doors as soon as I got the material and now that I've done the sunroof, I feel like I am going to bust if I don't do the doors soon!

Well, this weekend is no good for me. My weekends are open through Jun except the next two Sundays (the 1st and 8th). I could probably do make it mid-late afternoon on the 1st, but it would depend on how long auto-x takes.

this weekend wouldn't be good for me either. i just had surgery on my head about 2 hours ago. and ten bucks says i don't even get out of the house this weekend.
oh, and how hard is it to make the angel eyes?? i want to get that done while i have the headlights apart so i don't have to open them again, cause i sense a lil bit of a headache trying to open them.

Eeek surgery huh? Sucks on a holiday weekend! I hope you get to feeling better. It's not as hard to open the headlights if you use a razonblade to cut thru the goop instead of just prying it apart.
I can wait until next weekend. Next weekend would it be ok for Saturday instead of Sunday? Sunday's are hard getting up on Monday afterwards.

Rista, I think there was an angel eye how-to in either the "How-To" or "Cosmetic" section. It should say what you need.

What's going on with this meet? I'd offer my place, but Kev is doing all sorts of yard and house stuff that is spilling into the garage and there are a couple of extra cars around, so parking is pretty tight.

Door Panels!
I've worked on headlights before, but that was in my little usual helping way. My door panels tho if somebody could just help get them off I will try to recover myself.

Randy, I've opened my headlights so I can give you a hand with that, but I'm not the best painter so hopefully someone else (Kyle maybe;)) could work on that.
Mary, getting the door panels off shouldn't be a problem. I know several of us have done this before.
Kyle....Your house is fine by me.
I've done a few stereos in my time, just depends on what needs to be done.

Door panels will not be a problem at all...neither will headlights if you have the paint...
The stereo stuff I need is 2 12" subs, amp, and hook up the rest of my sirius...

Yeah, Luca is about twice her size and could probably swallow her whole. She's got way too much energy and would be a handful anyway. She does think she's intimidating though. She barks and growls at everything, but if it's bigger than a baby bunny she gets scared off easily.
anyone know of a place (non-internet) where i can buy a new shiftknob?
autozone doesnt have any for an ATX...

they got them about 15 minutes away from me in a performance shop. i have no idea how much they cost there, and i doubt you'd want to drive to cape girardeau for a shift knob, so nevermind my idea.
