Well for those of you who could not make it, I'll give a quick run down of what happened.
Saturday:
Got a very early start for the show, and while on my way to the show I got a panic phone call from Samantha saying she just woke up (2hrs late) and thats she's on her way. To make a long story short Sam got to the show 1hr faster than she normally would have, and made it with plenty of time to spare. The show itself was small but very good. The show ended with me winning the 50/50($$$) and Sam taking home 3 trophies. Best Interior, Farthest Driven (140+mi), and 1st Place Domestic. After the show we waited for some other members to meet us for a meet, but thats another story. Instead Clive, Samantha, and I went for dinner, did a lot of cruising, met some of the local ricers... I mean car enthusiasts and the Dunkin' Donuts. Then we did some more cruising, then we finally wound up at Clives house for the night.
Sunday:
Got up kinda early(knock, knock...;)), and went to the next show. Very big and unorganized show. There were about 250 cars packed so tightly into one small parking lot there was barely any room to walk around the cars. Judging was a joke and took forever. Samantha got a certificate :cough;CHEAP:cough; for winning 3rd in Ford/Mercury Class. During the show we recruited possibly 2 more members. After the show Sam and I went to a movie. The matrix kicked ass. (TNHO);)
That pretty much sums up the weekend. I'll be posting some pics this afternoon after work.
