View Full Version : SVT TB w/o SVT UIM?
I've heard that its a bad idea to just do the SVT TB without also doing the UIM. Is this the case? Should I not bother with the SVT TB if i'm not going to buy a SVT UIM right now?

Here's the thread that covers all that. (http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=10&threadid=71930)

Crispy has been running around with just the SVT TB for a while now with no probs, you wont get the most out of it untill you have the SVT UIM but it will be an emprovement.

I went around for almost a year with the svt tb and stock uim. Then I used it for 6 months on a ported and polished stock uim. Now I am using it on a 3L uim. I never had a problem or ever heard of any one having a problem with that setup.

So, where do I go to get the lowest price on the SVT TB?
I've decided to go ahead and try it, but I need to know where to get one (and all the associated parts)
Can someone help me?
I noticed someone is selling the cable, but I need the gasket and bracket...
HELP!
Thanks!
Charles:)

Ummm...Nowhere in that thread does it says where to buy an SVT TB, bracket, and gasket. At lest I certainly didn't find that info there. Thanks for trying to help, but unless I've suddenly become illiterate, I don't think anyone has posted that info.
Anyone out there know where I can find the parts (new or used) at a good price?
Thanks!
Charles

Thank you sir!
Anyone know (since it's the middle of the night & I can't call just yet) if fordpartsonline.com still has the bracket available? (approx price?)
I only ask b/c I entered the part # and it came back "nada".
Thanks!
Charles
Ford parts online has all the parts you need but Gary Starr told me the last I talked to him that the site was outdated and so were the prices. Give him a call. 800-549-2005

Charles, Let me know how much all that stuff runs you. I need to start on some performance mods.
