As a new cat owner(1999 v6 fully loaded)can anybody tell me where i can get those yank badges for the front and back, also different grills for the front.. When i've sorted the faulty air con and heated drivers seat i will invest in wheels and power..

the best way of getting the us badges is to post messages on the us forums. see if anyone is up for a swap.

if you do find someone to swap with get them to ship the parcel as a gift otherwise you'll be charged for import duty at this end

welcome to uk cougar wessa

just to let you know i have tried to get these badges and grills from the USA, as cougarfella suggests, with no luck i have actually been let down twice now with people saying they will swap or sell and then backing out later, so if you are going with this option then best of luck.
Another option would be Damian, our club founder has told me he will be importing some grills, in the very near future, so i am now waiting for them and feel that is the way forward for me, other than that i will be going for the ESP st24 mesh as mentioned in my other post.

Hope this helps........Gav.

hey wessa i traded a grill and boot badge with someone in the states your best off looking on the for sale/want to buy forums finding someone who is looking for the ford versions then pm them it cost me £20 just under to post them to the states it is very important you keep the wheight down to 2 kilo's or less and make sure that you stress they must send it as a gift otherwise it will cost you another £30 in customs!!!. people will trade you just need to be patient and make sure you feel confident with who you trade with if your not sure dont trade.must say my trade went really well the guy in the states kept me informed of things almost everyday and we both got our parcels on the same day.just as a side note if they dont respond promtly to emails chance's are they are not going to be to eager to get to the post office to sned the parcel.
