View Full Version : Put Azenis on
I sold some things the other day, and took my loot up to import tire. They were the closest tire dealer around me that had 205/55/16 Azenis. I can't say that I had much of a chance to try them out since I drove highway all the way home, but I am looking forward to tomorrow's autocross. I just hope that what everyone tells me about durability is true. I don't have another set of rims yet so the tires will be on the car for both track and street. Everyone on sccaforums tells me that I should be able to get 10K miles out of these tires? Well I guess I will soon find out if they live up to what everyone says about them.

Well how did they work? tomorrows autocross came and went....
Well I did absolutly horrid. I had my worst autocross in along time. I beat a guy a few weeks ago with a WRX and factory all seasons the same as I at the time by about a second and was behind the leader by about a second and a half. This time I was three seconds off the leader, and a second off the other guy. I hope it's just a learning thing. I can't seem to feel the limits of these tires. It seems vague? My car also changed from being free in the rear to pushing even with the pressures set 8 lbs higher in the rear? I know the tires are light years ahead of the stock tires,but I sure didn't use them to the full ability Sunday?
