Hey i was wondering if there are any members close to Peoria, IL.

hi kougar, welcome!
i think there are, Reagan(screen name is phantom) our president here, has announced that most of our upcoming meets will be towards central illinois by request of the members.
I know there's a few members around Springfield, but i'm not sure how far that is from Peoria.
but everyone is out of town for the weekend attending HCKC which is a big cougar thing. i'm not there becuase i'm for unfortunate reasons out of the country.
but you'll get some reply's on monday i'm sure if not sooner.

btw, where did you get your avatar? i made that i think, if not someone made something very similar :)
it's on 2 of my websites, just wondering :)
If Plainfield/Joliet is close to Peoria then yeah.

i do believe that i got the avatar from your website. I hope you don't mind. I thought it was very nicely done. I don't yet have a picture of my car to put there so i wanted to put up something temporary . Also Springfield is actually 1:15-30 mins from my house.

Yeah i have been by Joliet a few times but i am not sure how far away it is from Peoria.

i finally got a digital camera and was able to take a picture of my car so i am using it now, but thanks anyhow

Hey Kougar, welcome to IL NECO! I know where Peoria is at... I have friends out there, and have made the trip out on a couple of occasions. I hope to make a trip out there for Big Al's sometime next month in fact, but I don't know if that will happen. :banana:
I know we have one other guy from Peoria... his name was QuinnDog I believe... I met him once when I drove out there for a car show last summer... but I must have scared him off because he kinda dissapeared shortly after.
I don't know that most of my meets will be in central... but I wanted at least a couple... one will be on June 8th near Springfield at a car show... more details to follow... let me know if your interested...

Reagan that sounds Like a good idea and does sound interesting so let me know on the details. I am going to try my hardest to make it to as many meets as i can but i am working two job this summer so i have to work around that.

Hey Kougar, I'm also a new member here. Yay for us. Anyway, I'm from northwest burbs of Chi-town (Glenview), but I go to Illinois State University at Bloomington/Normal, not that far away from you. I'm gonna be at Normal this whole summer so if u wanna chill holla at me on AIM "BasicDigital". Maybe we can get together, drink so brewskies or BBQ. Whatever.

basic design, the BBQ sounds great
i know exactly where ISU is my ex is going there.
Maybe we can get a group of cougars or something to meet at ISU and some day this summer and hang out and Grill, and also check out the seen in bloomington/normal

After all you are the one who got me into this. You are the one who convinced me to go to the All Ford Show. I deeply apologize for not having a link to your site, I'll change that in the next 2 weeks, I promise. =]
I would love to spend more time with the crew, but I was car-less for the past year. Yes ISU did not provide me with a parking space(assholes) so, my car was at Glenview (NW suburbs of Chi-town), when I was 2 hours away at Normal, IL. Anyway, I finally moved out of the dorm to my own apt. so I brought my kitty with me, and this means that I’m going to be attending more meets. I promise.

Question for ya Kougar. Are you planning on going to see “2 fast 2 Furious” June 6th or 7th, cuz If u are we should meet up, and drive up there together.
