Has anyone added any extra sound insulation to their cars? Maybe it's just me because I'm getting older  but after lowering the car and adding 18's with low profiles but the road noise is really starting to annoy. I suppose it doesn't help driving around on these pothole ridden tarmac things we call roads these days.

I have!! Not sure if it's the thing you're looking for but I have used Dynamat in my boot and doors due to the sound pressure coming from my ICE. I have to have it or the bass would distort the pannels in the car!!! It works on the principle that it changes sound and pressure into heat. The foil like strips simply heat up slightly and hey presto, reduced noise in the car. May have the same effect and reduce road noise if you put it under the seats etc. Well worth it in my opinion but then again if i didn't have it I think my car would shake itself apart!!:crazy::thumbsup:
