holy **** it's the bomb!!!!!!!!


i saw it last night @ 10pm..........all the rumors are true so far. one thing to remember......STAY AFTER THE CREDITS......they are pretty long but there is a preview of the 3rd one, that comes out Nov 5th.

it's gonna make you mad cause they end it at a really tense moment.

go see it!

note: a critic said that it blew him appart and when he came back together he felt like he had 13 d@#ks and they where all being blown by a surfer chick with 26 heads. that's two heads for each d@#k if you can't do the math.......the point is....................................he was right;)

D@m%T MICAH, Now I read this....had I known there was a preview afterward I would've stayed..................arrrghh......and yeah it was awesome....amazing.....stupid ending (not stupid really, just pissed me off how it ended so tensly like micah said).....

I can't believe the movie wasn't any better then that!!!! I really thought that it would be better, but they used alot of the same stuff as the first one and not a lot of new stuff. I do agree that the ending sucked. I stuck around after the credits, for that really brief prelude to the next one. Overall, I was not real thrilled with the movie.

i too, as an animator, was looking for a bit more as far as effects. i had heard that they made more complex camera moves, because everyone copied the last movies camera motions. i saw little differences, such as neo fighting the smith's in the park. but the slowdown, rotation, was pretty much still there........the only thing i really noticed were the extremely high poly, 3D models of the actors taking on stunts that no one could perform without it looking stupid.

the twins were very impressive but they didn't do enough with them. i still loved it but then again i'm a diehard matrix fan:biggrin:

In order to understand the matrix, you have to understand certain philosphical aspecs which are intertwined in it.

the first one: "what is 'real'? if 'real' is what you can see, feel, taste and touch, then 'real' is just eletrical signals interpreted by your brain."

Reloaded: "..and this would be the 6th time we have destroyed Zion, and we are becoming exceedingly effient at it.." (hehe i cant tell you what that means...but if you figure it out..its quite a spine tingler.)

I saw it a second time and it helped a lot in the gray areas, also I think Revolutions will kick ass

I would have to agree with being dissapointed with the movie, I believe alot more could have been done with this movie, I would have to say that X-2 got way more oooohs and ahhhhhhs out of me than this movie did, now not to be all against it I thought the actual parts of the movie that were real were great, I am just not a huge fan of cartoonish animation in a movie such as this, or maybe I just dont understand the whole concept behind great animation and in my stupididty have failed to realise that it was in fact great usage of animation...Who knows!!!!! Overall opinion.... it was good but could have been better......

kenny - the interesting thing about Zion.............is that it doesn't matter.....When you realize why Zion is no longer important........you'll really get a tingle down your spine and to add to that, some important ppl in the movie arn't who they say or appear to be.............

when you figure all that out.........................your spine is gonna snap:goofy:

The spoon that the kid gave to Neo in reloaded (from the orphan) was sort of a message. In the first Matrix, the orphan states, that to bend the spoon you must relize that there is no spoon. As another message in Reloaded, the kid shows Neo the spoon again. The only way he was able to stop the sentinals (SP) near the end of the movie is becuase he relized that they were still in the Matrix. Also, Agent Smith is suposedly set free and takes over a human body? How is this so if he is just merely a program?

right you are George!................he said, "somethings wrong.......i can feel them." then he was able to stop them by believing.....again.

agent smith just copied and pasted himself basically. so, when he copied himself to that guy, he picked up the phone and just downloaded himself to another part of the system. you can think of him as a sorta, virus.......ironic that he was talking about humans being the virus and now he is, lol.

so what i'm hearing on TV and the radio, here in Greensboro, is that ppl are wondering who that guy was that lived, and is Zion still there........seems like a lot of ppl missed the real point to the sequel, rumor #1............a matrix within the matrix. Neo's new power was figuring out that he can control what happens in what then think is the real world.

the storyline is getting so good and i hate to see ppl say the movie sucked when infact it has a pretty deep story that is turning out great..........


so the answer to my hint is simply this.........when you log off the internet your on the desktop..................still in the system.

I found it odd after seeing the 2nd movie that why would they try to destroy the matrix by going into the program? Why not go to the source which is when they're unplugged and fight the actual computer system that runs the matrix. The building they try to destroy is only a program created by the matrix, so it really isn't real.

Also, if you listened to the commentary & behind the scenes stuff of the 1st film they state that the matrix has a greenish tint throughout it. Which is how you can tell if your in the real world or matrix. So when Neo pulls that trick near the end outside the matrix he has "freed his mind" and can now take **** to the next level.

I kinda thought the same thing. No so much when they slow down certain punches or throws, those are cool. But you know how TV & Film have this "look" to them? Then LIVE TV has this faster, realistic look to it? Kinda hard to describe,but think of it like watching a car chase in a movie or watching one break out live on TV. I thought the fights would look even more spectacular if they had that "sharp edge" feel to them, less blur kinda thing.

I wanna see it again.

so far it looks as if there is just a matrix within a matrix......no farther than that. in the next film you're going to find out that some ppl are lying about who they are and the final battle with smith, which should be hot. i'm hearing somethings about how he might be the center of it all but that's just speculation.

john - if you remember when they where talking about that central building they said that it was the center but it had to have the same rules that apply to real life. so it could have been the center but i totally understand and agree with what your saying about attacking it in what they thought was the real world.
