Can anyone advise on who and where and ideally what website to look at to get exhausts in the UK? I have the 2,0 cougar but finding a cat back system is proving hard and especially with twin exit (one either side of the car). I have looked and would either have to get it from the states or from stoffler but the cost of the exhaust and shipping is a bit on the pricey side!

Apologies if this is already asked but most of the kits you get are for the V6...(your all too greedy!)

Also any advise on header (exhaust manifolds) same as above query...

PS: Some handy hint...

Has anyone tried the fuel additives and the new product called 10k boost. If you haven't I can vouch that they are fantastic...I use slick 50 fuel cleaner as its one of the best and doesn't cause your engine to crave it like STP and also used the 10k boost. Take of the air box off or just disconnect the air feed from the air box just where the air sensor is...spray in as the instructions say and then take it for a spin...it takes a few miles for the engine to clear it but when it does...WOW what a difference! Anyone else tried it?

PPS: you can get both from normal shops like halfords etc...

You will be better off getting an exhaust fabricated to your exact requirements.

Try Longlife Exhausts (http://www.exhausts.uk.com/) or Ascar Exhausts (http://www.exhaustsuk.co.uk/).

I got my exhaust fabricated at Ascar Exhausts in Sheffield. It cost me £475 for a twin exit grade 304 stainless steel exhaust with quad 3 inch tips.

As you'll probably realise the place in Sheffield is also listed under Longlife Exhausts.

Don't go for any grade other than 304 because these grades are inferior and could rust, 304 will not.

I wouldn't go to your local Powerflow dealer either because some of the grades they use are questionable.

Try these people:

http://www.powerandperformance.co.uk

I spoke to them at the Easco show at the weekend and they are well clued up. For what you are looking at they said they would do me a purpose built unit , complete, for around £350. They will model it around the car and your needs rather than off the shelf. Thats on a V6 but they will do anything.

Had a chat with a number of other show cars and they gave them good reviews too. They are a powerflow specialist and will do a quality job. I shall be getting mine in July when I agree what I want, but am building up a close relationship now to see if I can get some cash of that price. If you see anything you like we could see what they will do for two units.

If any one wants a stainless induction kit too, these guys can create one offs.

P.S You have to see these guys. Mondeo fans and each is kitted with way to much NOS.

Thanks for this. Like the look of your exhausts too!

I'm looking to go for the motorbike can style each side (like the tuscan)...we will see what happens...I'll keep you posted as and when it gets done...not for a while mind.

Thanks
