I want to buy an underbody kit, but i searched through the forums and found that people have trouble hiding the bulbs if they dont have their car lowered or have side skirts, i really want to install a kit, but i dont want it to look horrible...I was just hoping to get some comments or maybe someone has fixed this problem before, just lookin for a little input. Thanks;)

Quite simple man..
When I didnt have my side skirts you could kinda see my tubes. To combat this problem, take a long strip of electrical tape and place it along the side of the neon tube. At night test it by stepping away from the car looking to see if you can see the tubes. If you see light leaking , mark the spot, and reapply the electrical tape. This mod takes about 25 minutes of work and 2 dollars worth of tape.
Good Luck

that sounds good, but would they still look the same or as good as they would if they didnt have tape on them??

imo they look better with the tape on em. If you have them on , at night the line of where the neon stops is in a perfect line, as opposed to it going out as far as the light can reach. Looks more uniform.
edit: you may have to test and retest the tape. some tape isnt as thick as others and light may leak through the taping. If thats the case you would probably need to apply another layer. When i had my old set I had to use two layers to prevent all the light from coming out on the sides.

or if you could find a way to mount them so that they are tucked in between that lip piece that runs under the car....that's where I mounted mine, but the tubes fall down from behind the lip and are visible.
