View Full Version : Car inspection w/ front windows tinted

Hey guys, my sticker ends at the end of this month (like a week left). Does anyone know where I can go and actually pass with my front windows tinted. I tried 2 places and they said no. Mark and Mary are looking into a place for me in Union, but any help would be appreciated. Thanxs.

plainfeild does on some days but they want $20.00

Whats Planfields? Do u mean the town Planfield? If so, where at b/c thats a lot less than what I was thinking I was going to have to pay.

I see you have a 2001 did you buy it new?
If you bought it new then you dont have to get it inspected till 2005. I got a letter in the mail from the dmv about a week ago that said if you bought or leased a new car in 2001-03 then you first inspection will be four years. Go to the dmv and ask them for an extention sticker.

Nah, didnt get the new deal. Someone had the car for a couple months before I did and then upgraded to the zn I think (loser). So, thats out. :(

damn I have inspection in July, but I don't have tints...yet. But I guarantee you that the day after inspection, they'll be on!
