In dash DVD relocation...

Im talking to a guy right now who is willing to make a solid attempt at relocating my a/c controls to the stock radio location and installing my pioneer 7" flip-out dvd player into the slot where the a/c controls are now located... has anyone tried this??
I took the dash apart and its looks promising... there seems to be enough room behind the controls and wires will probably reach so the a/c controls can be rerouted. I'll post progress as things get going...

So you want to cut out the a/c control panel and have the LCD slide out the opening- I have not seen a completed install like this...might be a first.
There is plenty of room there for this, shouldnt be any problems-
