I was driving through the Just For Feet parking lot Friday night when I saw a collection of modded imports. On the end was a laser red Cougar...so I stopped, got out, and talked to the owner.
It was actually funny, when I first jumped out of Dawns truck, the Cougar owner was sitting in his car, and the others were all standing together talking. When they saw me jump out of the truck, they all started walking up to me like I was there to start trouble. I just looked at them and ignored them as I walked over to the Cougar. It was like a bad deleted scene out of the Fast and the Ridiclous, a bunch of "badasses" walked up to the outsider. Anyway...
The Cougar was pretty hooked up, 18"s, painted dash, hoodscoop, No Limit Insert, neons, and the like. He had a really interesting idea for his shifter. He has an ATX, but an aftermarket shift knob, and he replaced his prendel with a MTX shift boot. It looked pretty cool, and original.
He knows of NECO, but doesn't post...he knew a lot of names. He is going to Cougar Bash....I will have him send my regards. ;)
He said there are a few other modded Cougars in the area, but none of them are members either. I guess Florida is even bigger than we thought.
