I am trying to decide between the AEM and the Mirko MAF/SVT diffuser/Green Filter setup. As far as poer gains I believe they are both about the same.

the mirko does not replace the restrictive accordion tube!!

Yea, I know. I was planning on getting the BAT pipe with the Mirko setup if that is what I go with.

The Mirko MAF adapter is the only one I know of that is actually matched to the MAF sensor. I'm using it with an Injen intake pipe and a 7" K&N cone filter. Makes for a great set up.

Build your own intake setup. It will also cost a signifigant amount less.

MAF Adapter (3 1/2" some sites say 85/90mm actual is 88.9mm)
- SP and BAT sell them for $39

Biggest non inverse cone K&N you can fit
- Summitracing KNN-RU1785 (5" wide x 8 1/2" long..what I run) $37.39

If you buy what I suggest you spend $76.39. The crappy kits by AEM/Injen/Weapon R run around $160-170. You just saved yourself plenty of cash to buy a nice Heat Shield or Intake Pipe and you have a better flowing intake without a 10mm restriction!!

OK, Thanks for all the advice. I am going with the Mirko MAF, K&N Filter, BAT Pipe and DTEC Heatshield.

i dont know if they still sell them or not, but i got a sca cold air intake and i llike it, everyone else who has it likes it. from what i understand it is the only true cold air setup for our cars. if you can find one of those i would reccomend that. but its still just an intake. dont expect much from either of them. all just preference really.

Hey that Dtec heat shield looks very restrictive to air flow. Is it just me or is there another source of air i cant see in the pics?
