Ok... here goes...
I was sitting at a light waiting to go to Chas' house and all of a sudden... *BOOM*! So of course i'm freaking out thinking that my taillights are going to be broken and my frame was gonna be all bent and stuff... so me and the guy pull over and I get out and it's just a small gash in my bumper but the bumper WILL have to be replaced.. It looks HORRIBLE! To me anyway... it's not THAT bad... but it still sucks.
So since I was planning on taking my car up to the shop today ANYWAY.. i'll check on the price of a bumper while i'm there!
Julie
PS.. I forgot to mention that it was an Explorer Sport Trac that hit me... and his front KC lights did most of the damage.. both of his lights were busted out and his covers were broken... and the guard thingie that holds them in place was pushed in...

with the money you could get from insurance to replace and replace that bumer you should be able to almost buy a complete body kit for the cougar.

yeah for real...i've got a 1K deductable, but if i was to claim it, it would make my insurance go up b/c my wreck was my fault. except in the case of the raccoon. since it wasn't your fault, get the money. ****, it's a freebie in your situation. my body kit's been put on hold bc i've got to drop 6 grand for college next yr. but it's all good, i'll make that back in the first 6 months.

We didn't call the cops... so we are just going to get it fixed with a stock bumper.. My dad knows the other guys dad so he is just going to pay for it to get fixed... plus.. if I were to get a body kit, my dad wouldn't let me put it on *his* car anyway..

He's fun with other things... like when he lets me drive his LS6 Chevelle.. And takes me on trips... he's fun like that... but he's not into hooking up newer cars... he goes for the classics :)

well, enlighten him in the world of hookin' up new cars. we both need to get on the ball julie....we're draggin' our asses for some strange reason.....could it be the fact that our parents are just weird like that and we don't have the money to do it ourselves? I THINK SO!! :disgust:

It's never a good idea to not call the cops.
Maybe you don't feel like you are hurt now, but you might in another day or two. If you don't file a police report and contact your insurance company, you'll be screwed when it comes time to go to the doctor because you will end up paying for it all instead of the other person's insurance company.
I hope you don't end up with neck or back pain, Julie.
