I just remembered...it's almost that time of year! The New York International Auto Show (http://www.autoshowny.com/) will be at the Jacob Javits center from Friday April 18th through Sunday April 27th. I'll definitely be there!

Hmm, most likely the train...I would be scared that there wouldn't be any place to park. Plus the fact that I've never driven in the city! Who knows what would happen...

You can find parking in one of the parking lots near the Javitz Center put who wants the aggrevation with all the traffic. Take the train, you can always kick back with a cold one:beer:,or 3 or 4.

Well, it looks like the best time to go would be Easter weekend...that Saturday, I mean. But if we go early enough, it might not be soooo packed. Either the 19th or the 26th would be cool :)

The 19th is good...but I don't think I can make it there early. I have to go to the dentist in the morning and have 5 cavities filled

I went too....I had no plans on going at all, but last minute up and went. I was a little dissapointed....most of the cars were nothing to look at IMO. There were a few REALLY HOT ones, but mostly, blah.
I really loved the Cobra Chromalusion edition. :hitit:

yeah i was kinda disappointed too. it was like oh these are the same cars i see everyday for the most part. i liked the monster garage's zamboni impala. thats a hot car.

on an other note, they were shooting a video on the road i was walking down to get to the show. it was a lamborghini driving down the road so i might be in a video. who knows what video. also they did a few takes so still may not be in it. oh well. at least i got the hear what that car sounds like driving past me...nice

I went on Saturday, also. I was kind of disappointed with the selection of vehicles. Nothing really changes from year to year. But, it was cool seeing the Ford Mustang and Mercury Messenger prototypes. And that new Chevy SS was amazing! Can we say, "I love 22 inch rims?" And the Bentley Continental was gorgeous in person. But I was tired...I didn't even see everything...and I left my stupid camera at my bf's house, so I missed the picture taking opportunities. Ah well, there's always next year :)

wtf

I went at the end....got there at 8:30, left at 10:30. I didnt get to see the monster garage at all ( idnt know it was there till we were walking out).
One more thing I forgot to mention.....the Cadillac Sixteen.....A THOUSAND HORSE POWER!?!?!?!?!?!:hitit::naughty:

did any of you see the eclipse from the movie 2 fast 2 furious. that was the worst paint job i've seen. it had paint drips all over it. and they chinced out on a cover for the drop top. that would have made it more custom looking. and that white suade interior. that wouldn't last a day with me. if you looked inside you could see how dirty it was. oh well i cant wait to see the movie. what is it 2 months away now?

oh and did any one go upstairs and see the eclipse with the clear hood. that was the dirtiest engine i've seen in awile. if you were taking your car to the international car show, wouldn't you clear your engine. especially when your hood is clear. well that was just my input

Oh yeah, the dirty clear hood...but that was only because everyone's hands were all over that thing. I love the kids that were touching it, "Oh, look, turbo!" But the Fast & the Furious Eclipse was kinda cool, except for that aluminum wing of course. I liked the purble-web paint job...even though it was a little dirty and chewed up on the bumpers. But the paint job I like best was the blue-green one on the Mustang...that was hot :)

Oh, I think my bf and I were there from about 5:30 to 7:00pm. It was packed! I hate crowds.
