Ok, I have the OZ (no limit) grill and wondered....has anyone had problems fitting it?? I set it in and closed the hood expecting it to hit in the middle.....it did slightly...but the biggest issue was the underside where the hood folds in is hitting and I cant get the hood to close...other then taking a hammer to the ends of the hood folds and hitting them up a bit....anyone else have any hints??

Dan, when I got mine from customcougars almost a year ago ( during the origonal north american batch of 25 ) it came kinda shabby and didn't fit well either. I just got out the sandpaper, a little bondo / glazing putty and touched it up till it fit nicely before painting it up.
Does your come with the 2 flimsy pieces of thin sheet metal bars without the wholes drilled in it stickingo uot of the back of it for screwing into the car? Mine came like that with one of them not even fiberglassed in that well so I used a couple rivets and epoxy and got it nice and solid finally.

Good luck

Thanks Ron.....mines painted though....so I'm trying to avoid the bondo.....and oddly enought...the one bracket (left) was flimsy...talk about a dead on copy :)

I got one thru James and one of my bars was not quite long enough so there is a semi-circle drilled out of one end.

Had early issues about the fitment of the corners, but after playing with the bars a little it was resolved.
