i am planning on putting a kaminari (sp?) hood on my kat. question is--the car is 4yrs old now and has three different paint jobs on it. (spoiler,razzi kit,and the door had to be re-painted) should i just spend the cash and get the whole car painted and around how much would that be? in in texas if that helps.

It depends on a couple things. 1)What color is your car, and 2)How well does everything match the original paint? If everything matches well, and your paint is easy to match like white, then you might be able to get away with just painting the hood, depending on how picky you are. But the car looks like it has 4 different paint jobs on it, then I'd get the whole thing repainted. You probably won't have to worry about doing the door jams, engine bay etc... since that paint shouldn't be faded hardly at all. But to get the entire car repainted, you'll probably want to plan on about $1500-$2000 for a GOOD paint job.

1,500-2,000 is getting away cheap, it generally cost about 4,000 to stay the same color if you go to a good bodyshop, and up to 6,000 to do a change.
