How do I get the front speaker covers off? I didn't know if there was a certain way or not. I really didn't want to take the whole door panel off unless that was necessary. I tried but didn't want to break them so I figured I better ask first.

I believe that the speaker covers are attached to the door panel and won't come off....besides, you cant change the speakers without taking the door panel off because you don't have enough room

You need to take the door panel off. The speaker covers are fused to it.

I know slighty off topic but.........how do you go about painting the speaker cover grills?

Take your door panels off..mask around the covers so as not to paint your door ;) then paint the covers.
